You right I grew up in NY Westchester County and that county is A suburb of NYC. Lots of Educated wealthy voters and its been trending Democrats and Blue for years. Some of best school districts in the US are here and that draws young educated voters who trend to vote Dem. Some of people I know who left rural Areas said they left because of lack of good hospital care and better school districts for their children in the Suburbs. The gop had a lock on these voters for years but after 45 came in office alot of these voters left the party.

We could have it where the VP pick is elected by the popular vote and the President is elected by the electoral college. Only reason for electoral college is to ensure the executive branch is not just listening to what’s popular. Since the Vice President is also the President of the Senate (which is part of the “People’s House”) it would be important to have a popular leader in that leadership role to prevent what is known as tyranny by the minority (which happens if the executive branch oversteps its boundaries). Basically making checks and balances better.

We could have it where the VP pick is elected by the popular vote and the President is elected by the electoral college. Only reason for electoral college is to ensure the executive branch is not just listening to what’s popular. Since the Vice President is also the President of the Senate (which is part of the “People’s House”) it would be important to have a popular leader in that leadership role to prevent what is known as tyranny by the minority (which happens if the executive branch oversteps its boundaries). Basically making checks and balances better.
In local elections like Mayor or governor, that works.
But not in Presidential elections. 😊

Trump still owes Erie money for his last campaign’s appearance and all the extra law-enforcement and security that he required for the 2020 election. The reason he didn’t come to Erie this time around was because of that debt, which landed him in Butler PA. The electoral college is outdated. We need to improve the system to better represent all Americans, not just those in a few states and counties
You have state and local governments that make their own laws. Maybe focus on changing your state instead of forcing your policies on other states?

Florida is not going blue. I've been a Florida resident for 32 years and the last time we was blue was in 2008 Obama. Trump is already predicted to win Florida he is up by 6 points state wide and in some counties he is up by 8+ points.

She also has to get a big huge number of Latino vote all across the state which is not going to happen because the Latino communities in our state are heavily Republican and conservative that sick to their values and tradition. In my city is a very large number of Latinos and I have talk to a lot of them that said that their whole household and family from the oldest to the youngest are all voting for Trump.
