hope you're doing ok man! at the end of every show they say 'we're twenty one pilots and so are you' they include their fans in everything they do. Tyler said Trees is about a time he was struggling and went out into the woods by himself searching for 'truth' and just shouted 'prove something to me, that I'm not nuts'. He said he likes that the song doesn't have an ending, you never find out if he found what he was searching for or if he got a response from whoever he was speaking to. Fans often interpret is as him talking to God and asking him to reveal himself but i love that they leave their songs up for interpretation. He wrote the song as a teenager before he started the band so it's cool they still end their shows with such an old song and that it is still a fan favourite.
Yes this is how they end every concert. It’s amazing! And I love that they end it with “we’re twenty one pilots and so are you.” ||-// Tyler’s voice is fantastic live. And they both bring so much energy. I hope you were able to see them on The Icy Tour!! The set list was incredible. I know you already reacted to the music video of Holding Onto You, but you should see it also from the Live at Fox Theater. It takes the song to a whole other level!
The symbol is l-/... so when you put up the 2 fingers with the other across its the symbol. Definitely a band to go see live. I'm 52 and have seen a ton of live shows from a lot of genres but TOP has been the best! Check out the new MTV unplugged show they did. The songs are all done differently and Car radio/ Heathens was AMAZING 🔥 !
Welcome back! You’ve been missed! You missed their MTV unplugged that happened a few days ago! Maybe check out their new mash up of Car Radio/Heathens….wait…we haven’t done Heathens!!✌️😊 yes that’s our symbol!! We are twenty one pilots and so are you!!🧿
You gotta watch this song's performance from every single tour that they've made and it will literally give you goosebumps. If you want to go to a concert, they have The Icy Tour, you gotta see if they are playing in a city near you. Believe me, it'll be the best decision you've made. I hope you went to the Cinema Livestream lol and they also had an episode of MTV Unplugged that was released on June 9, you can find it on RUclips. Please watch it and don't forget about the tour lol 😊
Trees is their show stopper they end every concert with. The speech is what Tyler says to the audience before the song. The speech he did at the show I went to was great
Yess 🎉 been waiting for this one!. I love your twenty one pilots reactions. .. glad you’re back, great reaction ..ohh they just did a mtv unplugged thing a few days ago!! The car radio version is super cool. It’s nothing like the original .. can’t wait for more
I just have to say I’ve been to many concerts over the years, some amazing bands.. BUT .. most just didn’t sound good live, the exception is twenty one pilots.. dude, they sound even better live.it’s worth seeing them. I already have tickets to see them again! Lol
Hearing Trees live and when he does his speech before starting always makes me so emotional. Reacting to his live performances in a video or on tv vs actually being in a stadium and hearing him live is an incredible difference. Hearing the emotion and being in a full stadium listening to this is one of my favorite parts about their concerts. It really pulls at your heart and I love it ♥️
These guys are Christians and most of their songs have biblical messages within the lyrics. But he leaves them open to interpretation for non Christians or anyone else to make their own. This one is him pleading with God to reveal himself and talk to him as he prays.
Glad you're on the mend! I had to go to the ER a week ago because I couldn't turn my head and the pain was UNBEARABLE!! It was a severe muscle spasm! Hope you didn't have as much pain as I had! Great reaction, love this song!!
This is my favorite song of theirs… I think. To me it speaks to my relationship with God. I can feel His breath, I know my death will come eventually, and I just want God to remind me He is there and I’m not alone.
They are on tour now so get tickets, you won’t regret it! I’m going in August. This song is about God and feeling distant from Him. Lyrics… I know where you stand Silent in the trees And thats where I am Silent in the trees Why won't you speak Where I happen to be? Silent in the trees Standing cowardly I can feel your breath I can feel my death I want to know you I want to see. I want to say, hello Hello Hello Hello
Okay…I’m not sure where you’re located …but you’ve gotta check out a show on their Icy Tour! You won’t regret it. We are headed to show 6 in September in Nashville! Best concert I’ve ever seen.
Twenty one pilots is easily one of the best bands this generation. Every song they do is going to top your list

“Holding on to you” live at Fox is also a must see.
I live the drumming that kicks in at 8:27.

Loving his voice! Unusual don’t you think? Being from the northwest we would love in the trees!
This became my favorite somehow.. all of their stuff is great, but this hits different
Welcome to the Clique!
They are on tour now so get tickets, you won’t regret it! I’m going in August. This song is about God and feeling distant from Him.
Lyrics…
I know where you stand
Silent in the trees
And thats where I am
Silent in the trees
Why won't you speak
Where I happen to be?
Silent in the trees
Standing cowardly
I can feel your breath
I can feel my death
I want to know you
I want to see.
I want to say, hello
Hello
Hello
Hello
Hey you're baaackkk🎉🎉
I was at that show that was my first time seeing them live!
Welcome back!
Did you go to their recent concert the tour is abt over!!! I went it was so great!!!
It's about God, kind of prayer
Silent in the trees. Not "cause I live in the trees."
I can't feel my death. Not "I can't feel my head"
Hey, I forgot about you until this popped up
This song is Tyler talking to God.
Oh -- he's saying I can feel your breath, I can feel my death...
Okay…I’m not sure where you’re located …but you’ve gotta check out a show on their Icy Tour! You won’t regret it. We are headed to show 6 in September in Nashville! Best concert I’ve ever seen.
I’m going to the Nashville show!
Bottom line: this song is about faith. Life is bigger than individuality. Whatever that means to you.
I was like 200 Poppa!
Too much pausing, ruins the flow
