As many have said, this is about his depression. He puts on the mask as an artist and the crowd carries him. At the end he takes off the mask and has a full head of hair, falls back and there is no crowd to catch him. He referenced pulling the steering wheel… he could change course, or maybe it’s death. Their lyrics are so full of meaning.
The fact that tyler did really get his car radio.... it had to happen for him to make this song to partly heal all of our souls .... just a bit! Well worth it :)
Think back to Levitate. When he is feeling confident with the banditos he says “I got back what I once bought back In that slot I won't need to replace”. You’ve heard the metaphor before. You’re doing great
Tyler actually did get his car radio stolen…but yes he speaks in metaphors. So glad you came back! Yes with shaving his head in levitate…also ski mask from Shy Away. Guns For Hands! And the genre is twenty one pilots! |-/ oh and antler dude is Chlorine…but not yet for Chlorine. In this he also talks about breathing in fire. Levitate was fire breathing since the 7th grade. Always overlapping. Yes that’s a synthesizer. Tyler plays many instruments.
You know you are deep into twenty one pilots when you don’t trust a literal interpretation of what Tyler says 😹 That boy definitely loves his metaphors, but this is the one time when it wasn’t a metaphor. Someone did actually steal his car radio when he was in college. And being trapped in silence with his dark thoughts is a dangerous place for him. But it’s amazing what Tyler was able to create out of that experience! In reviewing your playlist, it doesn’t look like you have done Chlorine yet. You will need to watch that to understand the “little gremlin dudes” from The Outside. Everybody loves Ned
It is about his depression and insecurities, yes, someone did actually steal his car radio leaving him even deeper in his swirling thoughts. I love this song. Glad to see you reacting to it. Much love!! #HOG4LIFE
Great job interpreting the lyrics! this was shot at a real concert, there's behind the scenes footage floating around the internet, would have been amazing to be a part of the video. Ode to Sleep or Migraine would be great songs to check out next. The song is a true story about when Tyler got the radio in his car stolen and couldn't afford a new one and his mind started to go to some dark places and he realised that he had been using music to distract himself from some of the unpleasant thoughts in his head and that he needed to confront them instead of always trying to distract himself from the deep questions he has.
Yes you are right it’s about depression snd fighting it. Also someone did steal his car radio when he was in college. I love this video. But this song live was sooo amazing! Finally saw them last Nov. during this song he walked right by me ❤️🥰
All of the dema stuff has been hinted at for a long time, want proof? Do an album reaction to their self titled album just called Twenty one pilots. You'll hear the references. Even further back you have tylor's solo album "no phun intended" there is lore in there too.
Great reaction thanks. Actually I think going back after having done the songs you have will give you an appreciation of how things built up to them. Ode to Sleep would be a good next one to react to.
Great reaction my guy…. Think u should check out chlorine next …. It ties a little into the story line because of Ned … songs about his creative process and that’s what Ned represents
You're doing great the shaving of his head don't get stressed you're doing way better than I was when I first started listening to them and watching you react to them is awesome def one of my fav channels keep up the great work 💚
As an outsider just trying to learn the lore within 11 songs makes me feel stoooopid. I never took the white beanie into consideration. I missed that one.
Some songs no official videos, but are really good. Do live at Fox Theater concert performances! Some live performances are even better than official videos!
Exactly what I was going to say about the "genre".. literally, the genre *IS* Twenty One Pilots! There really is *no* other band that fully encapsulates the essence of all genres of music the way TØP does!
Bro, this reaction gave me anxiety. Between your excited rambling and you stopping the music every 5 seconds this was a tough reaction to watch. Just relax and take it down a notch and you're good lol.
Yes! Please do "Trees" live at the FOX Theater

When asked about the meaning behind the song Tylor said "someone stole my car radio, and I'm emo. This is just what came out of that."
In college he was running late for a class and forgot to lock his car and someone actually stole his car radio. Amazing reaction!
I like how much thought you put into TOP reactions. You're definitely one of us. The Skeleton Clique.

As others have mentioned.. the TRUE experience is to see them live. Your first time will not be your last time.. guaranteed!

Ok. Been following. I just subscribed for the TOP journey
You need to do:
Ode to sleep
Chlorine (for lore)
My blood
The hype
Pretty much all of the music videos
Great reaction thanks. Actually I think going back after having done the songs you have will give you an appreciation of how things built up to them. Ode to Sleep would be a good next one to react to.
It's so worth going through this journey. Your going to love it!! Twenty One Pilots is their own genre!
Great reaction my guy…. Think u should check out chlorine next …. It ties a little into the story line because of Ned … songs about his creative process and that’s what Ned represents
11:00 Check out Guns for hands
Bro, just wanted to say that you're very entertaining to watch and listen to all these theories you come up with. Love it, keep em coming!

True! I was completely lost until after I saw them live and meeting the fans. Then it clicked there with the clique

Request please ode to sleep. This song to me is about the music industry control an stealing from the artists.
You get a sub, just for having Ray in your background.
Some songs no official videos, but are really good. Do live at Fox Theater concert performances! Some live performances are even better than official videos!
Yes!
Goner live at Fox phenomenal
Trees is unreal live at Fox
Holding on to you at Fox is great, but so is the official video.
They have no genre. Their genre is Twenty One Pilots. Also, the red as well as every detail has meanings
