I'm in the US and like the concept of Ouidad but struggle to find the right products that work for my hair from their collection. It also seems like a lot of women with 3c/4a don't use Ouidad and prefer to not have super big defined hair. I work in corporate and can't have not like the lion mane look. Light gels seem to cause that for me without trying. I have curly and coily hair mix. If I go with the coily items, its a little too moisturizing. The curly items are just ok and overall I struggle have gel with a strong enough hold and definition for the very front of my hair because it doesn't act right. It's right in front of thinner 3b sections that gets weighs down easily. I'm guessing it's a course 2c of 4a mix because the texture is course and I can't get a ringlet to form from the root unless I get a really good protein treatment and still I won't get ringlets in that area. But if I brush the front, it's easy to mix it with the 2 ish/3a section right behind it. Do you have any salon reqs for firm hold gel with a recommended leave in/cream pairing where I can finger coil without frizz that won't cause flakes? I have many textures and even parts of my scalp are oily and the rest is dry/normal without adding extra products.
This tutorial makes it look easy lol. Those long wash days resonated with me. I wish my hair was easier to manage. What kind of Denman brush do you use? Also do you have tutorials with kinkier hair textures?
So talented. The color and style…perfection. 🔥🔥 So beautiful before and after. I would like to see you do something like this on tighter curls / kinky hair. You may already have a video on that. I just stumbled upon this video. I’m about to subscribe so I don’t miss it.
I’ve been a natural for over 7 years and would not have known these wondrous tips if not for this video 😱😭🙌🏾. I was wondering why my hair went from super healthy to super dry over the years. Amazing vid!
I actually get a lot of single strand knots / harder to detangle hair with wash and go’s! Is it possible the products I used / dry hair has the most to do with this?
My favorite video so far!!! Ordered the curl custard and the oil. Can’t wait to get it. Thank you for your opinion on products. Keep educating us!! God Bless❤️
Loving your videos, do you have any tips please in between washes to keep definition and hold? And also I used the matrix gel but my hair came out much softer than expected with not that much hold but I did add leave in underneath, any tips for more hold?
What's your opinion of Ouidad products? Thanks for the recs! I loved the Matrix So Long Damage conditioner but it looks like they discontinued it. Many brands hide the high cost in small containers, eg, if you buy 4 x 8oz at $20 each, that's 80 bucks right there. The Liters and gallons are usually the best value, but almost impossible to get with the smaller brands. The prices keep creeping upward, supposedly to infinity. Beautiful work and great channel! Thank you.
Your hairs porosity level is the most important thing to know when buying products for your curls. It shows how much moisture your hair can maintain and how good it can hold a product.
@@renaespotser3980 I’m not too sure as I haven’t tried Pattern or Cecred yet, but i’m sure they’re all great products as they all have good ingredients:) I would test a product or two from each one and see what feel you like best🩷
What's the best technique for really short curls. And can you use the same products? I really like watching your channel!! I had my cut short awhile ago. ❤❤
I’m so sorry for asking again in case you answered but what’s wrong with Shea moisturizer? I use the Manuka Honey and hydrating 100% coconut line (not the coconut hibiscus) Recently I started using the “As I am” hair line is that bad too?
I can never get a good wash and go. Day 1 is usually fine. Day 2 and on going it shrinks up to a helmet. Thick and dense. I have layers and I'm mostly 4A. I haven't really found a curly stylist in San Diego. I have a stylist that can do my hair, but she isn't a curly stylist. I've learned that I can't use foam. I purchase what I can afford and what's available, in my city, but I also purchase stuff online from time to time. I do love A Curl Can Dream, but it's not always in stock at Sally's. Morracon Oil is great too, but it cost a lot.
Hola Chica! No te desanimes. El cabello riso es complicado. Es mucho experimental y ver que funciona para ti. Me tomo varios años pero ahora mis risos y yo somos mejores amigas! No te rindas. Tus risos son una de las mejores virtudes que tienes❤️
I have 3 curl patterns. 3b in the front, 4a in the middle, and 2c in the lower back. I two strand twist to get a close to similar curl pattern but the middle always end up dry and frizzy. I am lost in the sauce.
Any product suggestions for frizz on coarse, natural loose curls/waves? I am oily at the scalp, but my hair loves moisture farther down than that. It's easy to overdo it on the moisture though and then just have the curls/waves weighed down by all the products. Also have breakout prone skin so don't love wearing a ton of hair products (if possible). Help? (Hair texture is Middle Eastern type hair/coarser Hispanic hair, and thick.)
Any tip for a guy that has very dry and frizzy curly hair naturally? I currently use the aussie brand as a conditioner and coconut oil for after the wash on damp hair, but it doesnt seem to be great.
What about love your self love your curls Canada made This small amount of gel wouldn’t work for me. I have to go section by section with gel to limit frizz. I guess it is because my hair is a lot drier than hers.
You can alter the amount of product you need for the type of hair you have, this routine is very customizable:) I always switch it up for different clients 🩷
Comment what you babes thought of this tutorial! I hope this helps you with styling your curls at home!🩷

Just beautiful! I wish I could get my curls to look anything like this but I realize that we have different textures of hair.
Thank you for the great tips, can you please provide some advice on how to refresh hair between washes? Mine is 3b and gets dry and loses definition
Thank you
My stylist just recommended the Matrix brand products to me. Looks like I’m going to have to try them now.
They’re amazing I love them so much, ESPECIALLY the gel, that one is a MUST🙌🏽

That’s crazy all the curly girls say Mielle, Carlos daughter and Shea moisture 😮😮
I hope I’ve opened your eyes😆😆
Yeah, I like the Mielle Honey products the leave-in when I'm short on money, but I'll stop using it.
What affordable products would you recommend for coarse, kinky curly hair
How long does this style last? How do you protect it nightly?
I personally sleep with a satin bonnet which preserves my curls through the night! I just need to refresh in the monring
