He should make another video on mission planner doing it all over again with more details stuff on the software I feel like he cut a lot of good info out that can be useful for people over the years. The website is overwhelming with a lot of ??? With no answers. I love helicopters it's a shame there very little video about calibration software in general. Just a lot information being lost. No one's talking about it

I'm working toward building my first helicopter. so for one, thanks for the setup video, and two, do you fly it with the controls the same way you would a quadcopter?
Hi David. Yep, once Ardupilot is set up the controls are the same as a multicopter. Without Ardupilot though, e.g. people who do the 3D flying, they are very different beasts to fly!
@@brodo78 What mode must AP be in in order to manually move the servos like you do when leveling
@@brodo78 did you set up RSC? What about throttle curve? Should I be able to lift off w/ everything at default? The ArduPilot throttle curve video is too old and the params no longer math. thanks.

I had a problem in acro during loops. When armed (or in flight) and you hold the pich up stick, the swash plate became crazy.. I have a video on RUclips. Could you please check this problem? I had left the ardupilot system for this problem...

Hello, I have made a traditional helicopter
pixhawk, ardupilot. and I have done all the calibrations but during flight the helicopter shakes in the air giving excessive vibration.
what could be the reason and how can i solve it.thanks
Hi the main source of vibration are ur main and tail rotor and also make sure do good blade tracking on the main rotor and also the autopilot is well islolated from the vibration i use rubber dampners to mount the fc on to the frame
they’re no toy you can cut grass with those flying upside down no lie
