@@JeffPelletier that’s great to hear! I recall these more spaced out updates being in my comment wishlist when you asked what our thoughts were at the end of last years for that exact reason. Much more realistic/sustainable.

My husband and I did the Rim to River to Rim (South Kaibab to Bright Angel) only about a week and a half before you were there. But our weather was completely different. Started the day at -9 with ice and snow, and only got up to 17 at the bottom of the canyon. At least the cold kept it from being too busy except for at the top of Bright Angel; we were on our own most of the hike.

Hi Jeff found your channel about six months ago and really enjoy your films, as someone who is very environmentally conscious I have to ask, do you consider the impact of all flights you take? If you do, what do you do to mitigate it? I haven’t flown since 2019, partly pandemic but now it’s very conscious, not saying I won’t again, I am next year to go to New Zealand.

How do you know the water is radioactive? My husband and I are doing R2R2R October 17 want to make sure our water sources are safe, we are using bright angel Creek as our water source since the a lot of the pipped in water is shut off from a break in the line.

    • @JeffPelletier

You should be okay on the R2R2R route. It’s just along Tonto Trail that you need to be careful.
