      Not anymore. As soon as Matt Walsh exposed them our legislature made sure to pass a law against it. Vanderbilt shut down their program.

    Thank you for another great video! My wife and I are still 2 1/2 out before retiring, but we're REALLY considering TN in general. I guess we'll reach out as we get closer to the date. In the meantime, I'll keep watching your videos and staying informed about the local trends.

    The reason im dreaming of moving to Nahsville is both the american dream, new start and the culture/nature. And wanting to build my own dream house.

      Truly, that is the driving force dreams of so many that are moving here!

      @@LivingInNashvilleTennessee1 And i know that the house im dreaming of building is going to be a rare sight in the states. In Denmark the style is called Funkis, its basic a funktional house made with loads of concrete, brick and sometimes cobber or slate on the sidings. No drywall or wood framing. It's usually very energy efficient and low on maintenance. No small rooms og crooked walls/ceelings ect. The roof is usually flat, with tarp as a waterproof layer and small stones as a protective layer on top. Many use the roof for solar panels and big skylights or some even build a deck on it. The newest beginning trend is having a green roof, that absorbs loads of water and cools the building.

    "Lady moved here from California" - 17:36 that's all you needed to say, hahaha.

      Remember those people from California are the ones that are paying your mom, dad brother, sister, aunts and cousins way more than their house is worth if you didn’t get in the market that’s not on them. It’s on you. People that are moving here. Better vote different people than the place they left.

    Nashville is not a safe city with skyrocket crime, homeless & high cost of rental & homes.

    • @LivingInNashvilleTennessee1
      @LivingInNashvilleTennessee1  Месяц назад +1

      @@julialane6645 there certainly are areas where crime has risen and price of housing has risen quite a bit in recent years. I still can’t think of any other top 50 tier cities I find better

    • @MichaelDillin
      @MichaelDillin Месяц назад +1

      It’s all relative most people don’t live in downtown where the crime is and if you rent for a year and spend some time looking for the area you wanna buy and you can do what people do in most big cities and buy in a suburb 30 minutes outside of Nashville you will findsafe well policed communities.
      Every big city has crime and most people don’t live inside the city unless they can’t afford a good car to drive back-and-forth and commute. The good thing about Nashville is you can get 2 acres and a decent house for $800,000 instead of a crappy house on a 7000 square-foot lot , for $1 million inside the hell of a city like Van Nuys in Southern California
