I’m Christine, a second-year engineering student from Saint Louis University 👷‍♀️
This episode showcases the recent activities in relation to one of my subjects NSTP-CWTS 2. It seemed like I was forced to volunteer since I don’t have a choice but to do so, but I really want to do this. If allowed lang ako magdonate, I will. Anyway, because of this activity I’m determined to join the Red Cross SLU next academic year. I want to volunteer again for the next bloodletting activities that will be organized by SLU-NSTP. I felt a sense of purpose while doing this and I also learn how to identify a person’s blood type. This blood-typing experience made me realize that medicine is something that I really want. The moment I was given an opportunity to do that and while doing it, I felt a tingling sensation in my heart that I never felt with engineering. Once again, I was tempted to shift. I questioned where I am right now, there’s so many “what ifs”, however we’re halfway of the journey of being an engineer so might as well finish what I have started.
