We plan on floating it several times this spring/early summer, would be awesome if you could tag along man!!! We fished it for the first time last spring and did pretty good everytime we went, I think we fished it 4 maybe 5 times last year!!!
My family and I are moving to the JC area in the spring, your video has me pumped and excited to get moved so I can go fishing. I also fly fish and I love to catch all types of fish. You guys have also convinced me that I will need to get me a kayak.
Awesome man 🤙appreciate you checking out the videos, tons and tons of awesome fishing around us here in TN absolutely love it!!!!! And yeah a kayak is a must have
lordkatsumori1 there’s some fine water here. And if you love rivers, a kayak is the way to go around here. The Clinch and Holston rivers are a blast to catch some nice fish.
@@skylerwhite5708 I do not descriminate when it comes to water, I will fish the lakes, rivers, streams, ponds and even oceans. I have been talking to josh and yes once I get moved to the area here soon, I will be buying a kayak. I am excited to get moved, I even fly fish so I am looking forward to fishing all the waters and various species of fish that TN has to offer.
I used to swim there every day after school I lived right by there and there are tons of huge caves and shit all up and down through there about a half a mile down stream I about got sucked under I jumped in and didn’t realize they let the damn out and current was so strong it pulled me for over a mile b4 I got ahold of a down tree to pull my self out and walk back to 4 wheeler.
Nice river. The bank fish are fun to pick off, but the big ones spend 99% of their life in the deeper holes. Once u find the holes its all about stealth fishing them from a distance. The creeks and rivers I fish in the Mid Atlantic average 1-2 of these spots per mile. If your consistantly looking for the biggest fish in the river focus on finding these holes. I have fished many of these holes on my home rivers for 50 years and the big fish are always in the vicinity. Maybe not always biting. Smallmouth are territorial and the big fish have the best spots. Most anglers position their boats directly over these holes and beat the banks catching average fish.
I waded in behind Tanger Outlet back in September. I could only get a couple dinks. But I was only using small rooster tails.
Yeah that little river has changed a lot over the last few years after they tore out the little weir damn
My oldest son lives on that river not far from where you're fishing . I need to plan a trip to visit him now to catch my 1st smallie
Man, that river is a hidden gem!! Some amazing fishing over there!!
One of my favorite spots. Good video. Keep it up.
i want to kayak that this year, nice

Take some back to the pond
Which pond? Not sure smallies will survive In a pond!
That’s also very illegal
They Won’t Survive in a Pond🙁
