    One of the best channel for learning ANSYS I have found in you tube. You are doing a great job sir. Please make a detailed video on CFD FLUENT setup

    Thank u for your explanation. I have a question .Why can't we use face meshing with inflation ? Regards

    first of all thanks alot....
    please explain (if possible )why the changes you make made it sweepable body.

      Thank you for Appreciation !
      If your FEA geometry is not sweepable then you need to split the body so that it becomes sweepable for sweep and hex mesh.

    Hi I am simulating a retaining wall which is made of interlocking block. Each block is connected to other with interlocking keys. The interlocking keys are curved in shape. Which method is the best suit here?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  4 года назад

      Hello..It is based on the what behavior you want to study. You need to select simulation types based on loading conditions and BC. In case of gravity retaining wall, mostly we do simulation for bearing capacity, overturning, sliding , etc. by modeling all the block with frictional contacts and static structural non linear analysis.

      @@graspengineering9249 sir if I have a circular disc and I want to select nodes that occupy 183 degrees out of 360 degrees on that disc, then how to do that? Box or Lasso selection is not working

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  4 года назад +1

      If you are not able to do in mechanical then do splitting of 183 degree in design modeler and then check in mechanical, you have 183 degree surface for selection.

    How to generate eight nodal isoparametric element
    Mesh

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  4 года назад

      Isoparametric is a numerical way of naming the elements. All the element uses isoparametric formulation. It is as same as eight node element (for example solid 185 in ANSYS).
