Excellent Review. I can certainly see the minor upgrades from their earlier model makes a great overall improvement in total performance. As well as the purchase price is reasonable for what it offers.
Yes. Very helpful review. I've ordered my first tablet - Doogee T20 256gb - after 2 weeks of looking at budget phones, then deciding a 256gb ROM tablet would suit my needs - large₩₩r display, more memory for storing images, split-screen and stylus pen to improve drawing. Seeing the graphical improvements in the T30 will give me something to consider, if the T20 isn't enough, but will keep to a budget device for now, until my Samsung phone is repaired.
Glad it was helpful - the T30 is an upgrade in power, but I'm just trying to push it to see how far it can go. For the average user case of emilas, web surfing, youtube, gaming, etc the T20 does a great job
Hi - Were the colours as saturated as they looked or was it just down to your recording? I'm trying to work out which one to buy. This t30 ultra or the t20 ultra that has a 12 inch screen and a bigger battery. The t20 ultra had a lower res screen but not by much and the difference wouldn't be really noticeable on a screen this size. I'm mainly going to use it for watching movies and browsing etc. Which one would you say? considering both are the same price at the moment.
Just got one, spot on tablet for 195 pounds here in UK, But no keyboard or pen. All in all highly recommended but it would annoy me without a decent bluetooth speaker.
This was a helpful review. I'm currently looking to buy my first tablet and this one popped up. I was curious what kind of battery life you see and in what kind of use cases are you seeing that kind of time? I would probably be using mine mostly for light tasks (reading, browsing, and video watching) and not heavy gaming.
That's a good question and i realise I'm not providing much data there. My pattern on using these is a little sporadic where I'll get a few hours use and then plug it in or power it off... which isn't particularly useful. I've read elsewhere people putting in full days of web browsing/email/movie playing - but it depends heavily also on your network connection, screen brightness, volume etc etc. One thing I'll do in the next review is try and get some data here. So put all the tablets on high volume, full brightness, youtube on and see how long they can all go for.
How do you find the brightness on this -- the quoted 350 nits seem very low and I'm not sure whether that would annoy me or not, or even if it would be unusable outdoors?
350nits seems very bright inside the house, but I think it would turn into pure reflection outside (I’d check but I’m in Japan right now) my iPhone, which I can use outside, can go up to 1200 nis in comparison.
I'm still waiting for one of these lower cost tablets to include a "real" USB 3 port, which would make it a much more powerful tool. I guess if you want to big specs you gotta pay the big bucks though... lol
Yes. That’s the reality of it. While a low/mid end does 99% of things the majority of users want, to get that extra jump into high end means a lot more money. A lot more power to though. I just got a new iPhone 14 and it maxes out the next 3D benchmark up from the one I used. It can’t even give it a score as the max frame rate is reached in every case :)
Well they sent me a keyboard with it specifically. But I’m out of the country and can’t remember if it’s T30 specific. I presume it is due to the slight increase in size over the T20
Yes - from memory (I'm pretty sure I did this with the T20 or the T30) There's no HDMI port, but I connected to a USB-C hub with an HDMI out and then that worked fine to my HDMI monitor
@@CurryKitten they use asahi glass but couldnt understand my question any further. doubt it dragontrail so screen protector it is. i am horrible ant screen protector installs.
Well, there's 2 reasons for this. 1 is, I am an avid gamer - a few hours a night chilling out on whatever I'm playing chills me out no end. The other is to try and show some performance - any old chepo tablet can run your email, web browsers and take photos. Not everything has the power to emulate old game systems very well :)

Great work
Thank you! Cheers!

Can the Doogee T30 Pro tablet's Helio G99 processor handle running multiple apps or games simultaneously without any performance issues?

do you think, this would work as a car nav system, i am afraid the screen brightness might be too low ...

what about when charging the battery gets very hot any solution from update or changing the adapter ?
Hi. The affiliate link is not working.
Apparently a cock-up between Doogee and Shareasale who act as the affiliate for them. But thanks for letting me know

Ok… I can change my ATARI with this Tablet 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks... an excellent review. Does it have HDMI out to a big telly, at all ? It seems to have GPS for navigation... Thanks again :)
It doesn't have an HDMI out, but you can attach to HDMI using a USB-C to HDMI adapter
Question..is there a SIM card slot..or, SD. ONLY?
There's a dual slot, so you can have 2 sim cards, or 1 sim card and an sd card

@@CurryKitten The price is very tempting for me, but I'm being hesitant because of the stated nits -- thanks for your response, it's very helpful.

How good does citra emulator work with it
Have you seen the t30 ultra I can’t tell the difference
please answer if you see this, can i put a 4g sim card and get mobile data on this tablet? i don't have wifi where i am, thanks
Yes - there's a dual sim bay where you can put in 2 sims, or a sim and an SD card etc
Did you use the Doogee T20 Keyboard with the Doogee T30 pro tablet ?
Well they sent me a keyboard with it specifically. But I’m out of the country and can’t remember if it’s T30 specific. I presume it is due to the slight increase in size over the T20
Can it connect to a tv or screen via HDMI?

does this have gorilla glass?
The specs don't mention what the glass is, so I suspect it's not. I would use a decent tough screen protector to keep the screen safe
@@CurryKitten they use asahi glass but couldnt understand my question any further. doubt it dragontrail so screen protector it is. i am horrible ant screen protector installs.
Hello bro is it contain keyboard with box
No - the keyboard is extra
Does anyone know what Sonic game it shows in the gaming test
It's Sonic 3 under Genesis/Megadrive emulation
Also sonic adventure on the dreamcast.
A full grown man concentrating mainly on games 😅 think I'll watch a younger guy concentrating on the important stuff!
