Chance sure does hurtful ballads. His voice is so expressive, warm, buttery, wraps you up like a warm blanket.

One of my favorites. Absolutely stunning. Trace Adkins wrote this about his divorce. It’s so beautiful. Chance was perfect and I love all the bass. And the video was great. All the black and white was him and the color was with her. Clever. 🥰

Chance is the absolute perfect lead on this song, & definitely gives me the feels. His voice is just so sultry & smooth, & the harmonies are beyond words. ❤️
This is one of Home Free's sadder songs. Chance's voice is really suited to doing this type of song. I like the video too, where most of it is in black & white with only a few of the personal items that remind him of her are in color.
I adore this. Chance's lead as well as his concept for the visuals. (Present day in b&w, colorized memories.) The 5-part 'church organ' harmonies which can vibrate the soul and add to the emotion of the song. Never tire of revisiting this video.
Another great song that Chance takes the lead on is 'Cover Me Up'. He does a fabulous on this, and the backing vocals are, of course, very touching. Be sure to watch all the way to the end, it's very touching.
This was a "Chance" project...he not only sang this one but he also was the director...he sings incredibly but has a lot of other talents too. "COVER ME UP" is even better...but it's one you HAVE to watch to the end.

I don't know if you've seen Home Free's video "What We Ain't Got" but in a concert video Tim Foust tells an hilarious story about it - he says that he found what he didn't have was oxygen, that he was completely out of breath when the song started (and he does the whole first verse himself, totally acapella). I believe the video is called "Home Free Oxygen". I love "I Can't Outrun You" - it's such a beautiful song, sung beautifully - your reaction and analysis were so good!

So glad that you finally got to this one. It’s hauntingly beautiful. I find myself pushing reactions to Chance leads as people don’t request him often. It seems that the 2 extremes, Tim and Austin, get more attention. Chance and Rob are my favorite lead vocalists in HF. For more intoxicating Chance- “Cover Me Up”,shows more of Chance’s range, “Some Girls Do”, “Yours”, “ Born in the USA “(he plays guitar in this), “Winter Song”. I’ve been waiting for some new Chance leads(solid leads). It’s been too long.
One of the best and most beautiful songs where Chance has the lead. Chance with his raw sexy voice that fits this song perfectly. Really so good! And then with the so tight harmonies and the bass, let's hear a high class a-cappella

This is so sadly beautiful. A perfect match for Chance's sultry voice. I didn't catch Adam smiling at the end until about my 10th viewing, so kudos to you. I expect there was some mayhem happening off-camera. Maybe we'll see it when they release the behind the scenes. Another great reaction from you. Nobody ever seems to talk about the carillon in the backing vocals. They did it in Unchained Melody, too, and I love it.
A cat that was around while they were filming came up and was rubbing against Adam’s leg. That’s what made him almost break a smile at the end.

Beautiful message in these lyrics. Great vocals as always. If you watch their behind the scenes videos, you will see that even on the serious songs they are goofing around during filming the music videos.
I am so glad you finally got to this song! I think this is my favorite of Chance's leads, and to be honest of all the Home Free songs.
