Absolutely impressive. I wish people like you made a business of modifying popular models like this to sell to the rest of us, we'd pay good money, but because of the talent you have it may make more sense for you to go into other ventures, and so we are left on our own to attempt to copy your youtube videos.

Hi Doug. Thanks! I would love to make business with this. If you are interested in something special we can talk about it. but it will take some time to finish a build like this.

I really like your paint scheme, what brand paint did you use?

Thanks☺️ I used Duplicolor Platinum spraypaint. There is one downside. The foam reacts a bit. The bubbles of the foam get a little bit round on the surface. You have to put on super thin layers to avoid this.

Can you better explain the battery modification? You secure the battery with a piece of tape? Also, with the battery that far back is it still possible to get the CG where the plans call for it to be?

Yes. the battery is secured with a piece of tape. well fixed and super lightweight. default CG is too much in front. The plane is very nose heavy. With the battery in position i chose you can get much better aerobratic characteristics.

@@RCnerd74 Is there any sort of "hatch" to cover the hole where you insert the battery?

@@cattail3 Just check the video about the mods on my latest funcub build. This solution for the battery works perfect: ruclips.net/video/p4TWSqZDgrY/видео.html Explanation of the battery mount starts at 2:45.
