    Awesome job! We can't wait to try out an NG. All our time and experience with Fun Cubs is with the OG model. Timeless airplane.

    very good your Vídio very complete and well explained this plane doesn't have very clear instructions so if it weren't for this Vídio I would have a lot of difficulties in assembling it thanks for Vídio

      Thanks god RC Reporter ha fatto un buon video!

    Multiplex airplanes are all so well built. I've got some other brands and they can't hold a candle to how much thicker/denser/tougher the foam on MPX is. I've got the original FC and have driven it straight into the ground before and it only crinkled the nose. Would like to see a different design on the firewall but otherwise this looks really nice. Great video.

      In the end, you almost always find the Multiplex foamies have the edge. They seem just better developed and thought out. Plus they always fly superbly.......

    Nice video! But when and how will the motor be installed? It looks like you can't reach it once the 2 fuselage halves are together.

    Nice video, thanks!
    Question: what type of motor is used and how many battery cells? Sorry, can't find it in the video.

    If you still have this funcub... I highly recommend using a VESS electric wood prop.

    What happens WHEN servos fail that are embedded in the fuselage? You have to cut the whole plane open to swap out a servo?

    Thank you gor this video. It was helpful a lot to me when deciding if I should get the RR or kit version, considsring I already Have all the electronics from my Funray that has unfortunately crashed. The motor is a bit longer, but I think I can squeeze it in. Awsome flying there as well, congrats!

      Thanks, if you are not up to the motor measurements you have to make a wooden spacer, most likely you will only fix your motor with 2 screws, do not worry they are enough. Here this is another flight of another in blue version that I have just assembled ruclips.net/video/4sFyHai3Mkg/видео.html

    9:07 you should put all the servo cable in the next cavity on the fuselage and the prolongation cable let extra 4 cm in case of servo failure you cannot change the servo if apply your method

    Were the servo extention cables included? Were the prop adapter, spinner and prop included as well?

    • @RCReporter
      @RCReporter  2 года назад

      The kit version lacks all the electronics, so the extensions of the servo cables are also missing. The propeller is not included either, but by purchasing the kit version and all the necessary I have saved about $ 100 compared to the pnp persion which here where I live costs about $ 300, so I spent a total of about $ 200

    Hi!
    I've got a doubt about flap servos. They are assembled in simmetric or mirrored position. So, if I use a 'Y' cable to connect both servos to the same channel, they would move in opposite direction.
    How is it solved?
    Thanks

      desolder and switch the 2 outer kabels on the podmeter and the 2 wires of the servo motors. then servo is reversed! :)

    Buongiorno RCReporter! Ho guardato il tuo video con attenzione una paio di tempi e mi ha aiutato molto. Ma ho aspettato la instalazione d il motore e gli altri componenti elettrici. Sono stato molto arrabbiato per non avere provato il motore con buchi tradizionale prima di avere incollato la fusoliera. Ora ho leggo che qui in la Germania raccomandano avitare il motore tradizione con solo due viti. Altri persone sono costruiti adattatore (con la stampante 3D o di legna) per montare il motore. Cosa hai fatto tu?
    Una altra domanda: perché ancora non aveva ricevuto migliore servi (servo), ho montato i servo MG90D indietro come te. Hai avuto buone esperienze con loro? Supongo cue cambiare i servo indietro e molto difficile...
    Grazie mille e molti saluti di Baviera di un mezzo germano, mezzo chileno.

      Ciao, ho montato il motore (sunnysky) creandomi un distanziale in legno, e purtroppo ho usato anche io solo 2 viti in quanto le altri due fori non combaciano con i fori del motore. Vai tranquillo regge benissimo anche con solo 2 viti

    • @ficosk8

      @@RCReporter super, grazie mille! Io ho comprato un motore surpass C3548. La lunghezza e quasi perfetta ma uno o due millimetri starebbero migliori per securita (distanza fra la elica e la fusoliera. Forse anche io posso fare un distanziale di legno o utilizo rondelli comune.
      In riguardo a i servi MG90D, tutto OK ? Ho avuto un incidente con il mio primo aereo di balsa. Non so se per la signale o per il servo MG90D....
      Grazie e buona giornata!!

    Very nice and useful video. Now I am assembling my FC NG, and have a doubt with the rudder and the vertical stabilizer.
    I suppose that I should cut the upper portion of foam that joins them and doesn'l let the rudder turn. But I can't find any pivot but the small hinge where the rear wheel is fixed.
    Is this hinge the only point where the rudder is held on?

    • @e_Duardus
      @e_Duardus 2 года назад +1

      It is clear to me (it is shown in the video). Just cutting the upper portion of material, the vertical "strip" works as hinge...

    • @RCReporter
      @RCReporter  2 года назад

      @@e_Duardus yes, the central part acts as a hinge, then if it comes off you can use normal hinges to repair it

  • @Brian-om2hh

    Is it the same motor as the previous generation FunCub? I have a very worn older version, and would buy the NG kit if I knew the motor was up to the job..... Be careful you don't get cyano on the servo leads. It cracks the insulation on the leads, leading to failure.......

      Saluti a Gargano! I would love you ti built my blue kit too xD. I also bought this for savings, but I thought it would be easier and the manual better. I’m from Bavaria (half Chilean too) and I’m impressed how poor the manual is…
      I have the same Servos as you but a bigger motor I think. 3548 from Surpass (1100kv). I hope I have time to build the kit soon. Your flying video looks like a lot of fun!!
      This week we travel to northern Italy 🇮🇹
