I joined my schools drama club and I really wanted to do biggest blame fool. I had been in the seussical before and I loved it so much, so when I learned we could do solos, duos, trios, and group numbers, I decided to do this song. I play the sour kangaroo and I’m so excited!

1. Use a song that would convey the personality of Gertrude 2. Dress nicely. It gets you a lot farther than if you didn't. 3. Be prepared. Use music downloaded or acapella. Good luck!!

It was such a fun role because If your comfortable being a sassy character. The only thing that stumped me was there was a part where she had to do a “evil laugh.” But other than that it was one of my favorite roles!
The theater I usually perform at is doing Suessical this year and I kinda want to try out for young kangaroo (since I'm pretty small, I feel like I could pull it off 😅) but I've never had a speaking or named character role. Do you think I'd be better off trying out for one of the bird girls or something?
Honestly, a bird girl is a bigger part than the small kangaroo in my opinion. It a lot of good experience cause they dance and sing in almost every song. Wishing you luck whatever you get! PS I’m a bird girl so I might be a little biased.
I really wanted him I practiced for four months with It’s Possible and I got a Wickersham...I’m thankful I got a part but I sing a little higher and they’re making us sing a little low on our part and I’m having trouble hitting it. But I’m really excited to perform, it’s a great show! 😊

Honestly, when i got my callback for Mayzie, I thought i wouldn’t get her because I was up against a girl who was actually wearing a dress that was really similar to Mayzie’s, and i was just wearing a sweater and pants. But i got Mayzie because I hit the high note on “I’m” in Amazing Mayzie 😃
