Self discipline is something the Lord really had to drive home to me over the years. Self discipline is so key because, sometimes we just do not feel like reading or praying. If we push through we build those muscles that eventually make us stronger and we rely less on “feel good” emotions to pray or read the Word and more on just choice. Praise God!

Yesterday I started reading bible n started so much yawning. And I said to holy spirit that you be hear n charge over me n yawning stopped and I could read n study word of God properly

Every time now for about 1year I will yawn an I say ok Lord rebuke him an my neck will start hurting I ask Jesus to rebuke him
I love it & when had leap out once. I wish it was once. I just don't cuz I get stuck reading it & then do nothing else so it's hard.
When the demonic activity in our home was at its worst, I literally would fall asleep, trying to read scripture, and during my prayer time to the point where I couldn’t keep my eyes open and would just pass out in the middle of praying the rosary. Thank God that this no longer happens but it took almost a year until I stopped falling asleep or becoming sleepy during prayer. Looking back at my childhood I remember always becoming extremely sleepy Every time I attended church mass and this dates back to when I was 10 years old. Since my situation started almost 4 years ago, at least that’s when it became noticeably obvious to the point where the archdiocese had to get involved to help me and my child, I started praying nonstop for the first time in my entire life and I’m 40 years old now. I also started attending church again, I no longer feel sleepy or tired in church or like I’m in a mental fog during mass. If there was no evidence of a generational affliction in my lineage, I probably wouldn’t thought anything of those experiences from childhood, but after knowing what I know now and all that I have found out trying to get to the bottom of this and the root cause I believe that something had been afflicting me my entire life.

You number one got me. Three years ago I did something that I am ashamed of. I walked that 3 years in guilt and shame even though I begged God and those affected for forgiveness. I’ve been a believer my whole life and was saved at about 48 yeArs ago. Those involved forgave me but I was tormented with shame and guilt. The enemy told me “how could I do such a thing”. “A true Christian wouldn’t do that”. I almost ended my life believing I’d live with this forever. My pastor told me over and over that my shame and guilt was coming from satan. Not God, not those affected by it. It took me 3 years but I’ve finally got the victory over satans condemnation. God is good. Satan is a liar. I want to do great things for God. I can’t look forward when im looking back. No more looking back.

I had this same conversation with my son yesterday on simply ignoring the attacks and stay focused on his words; Spending quality time with the Lord; and then give it to God. Pray without ceasing and have peace in your Heart thru your own personal Faith in Gods promises and allow that to be the only comfort we need. You can’t give something energy to grow if you don’t focus on it and let it go.
