I sent home a digital welcome letter with the link to my website. I then asked parents to bookmark it. You can also have it linked to ClassDojo, Seesaw or Google Classroom so they can always get to it.
Hi Mrs. Ritti. Your classroom is wonderful. I do not see any reference to teaching science in your classroom. Do you teach science or engineering content to your students? If so how do you do inquiry science or engineering tasks?
Thank you! :) We do teach science but it is not a main component of our instruction at our school. It is typically tied in during ELA throughout our units and also through the STEAM class the students go to. We were supposed to be building an Engineering Makers Space in our classroom this year BUT with everything going on I do not see that happening unfortunately.

Based on what I have seen you do....you can make your own maker space to add to all the different rooms you have already established! I'm part of a group that trains pre-service teachers for secondary teaching in high need schools and we are using your videos to inspire and motivate them as they develop this new technology. Thanks for what you do.
Love your videos! When you are publishing your Bitmoji classroom directly from your drive, are you having to publish it to the web first, as you have to with seesaw?
Got my google site classroom all ready thanks to you. My question, how to remove the editing icon on published website. I may have missed a step that would prevent others from editing my site.
How exciting!!! As long as you share the published site link nobody will be able to edit it. You are seeing that editing icon because you are logged in as the person who created the site. :)
Yours students use their student portal to go to their activities from seesaw? Or they go through seesaw? Thanks in advance. I use seesaw but I love the idea of a web page with all.
Do I just go to the student portal page at the top, copy that hyperlink, and paste that as an embedded link over top of the student portal button/picture?
You'll need to go to pages and create one named "student portal" and "parent portal" and then from there you can click on your picture and link it to another page on your Google Site. I hope that helps! :)

I love this as a website for parents to have access to everything. My question, I see where Letter A classroom is inserted, I was wondering for the next week would letter B come in the same space as Letter A or somewhere else.
The bitmoji classrooms on the website will just be for extra practice. The students will be assigned a specific letter room on Seesaw which is our activities platform based on the letter we are learning for the week or day and will be changed as we learn each new letter.

I used a screenshot and uploaded it as a picture rather than using my active classroom.
How did you add I-Ready to your website and is it a separate login once you're in I-Ready?
Also, how are you handling logging into your website homepage or do you not require that?
I just grabbed the logo and then the link will take them to their student login page. :)
I am not requiring a login, there will not be any confidential information on the website.

My homepage classroom is just a picture, it is not an active bitmoji classroom. I just wanted to use it as a cover art.

How do you get the cute fonts on your slides?
I use Canva (they have tons on cute fonts available) or I use the KG Fonts, which you can search for and download for free on TPT.
