I feel like I just listened to an addict tell me for the 10th time they won't get high again. You want to believe it, and you are cheering for them, but you really know deep down that they about to get high again. This defensive scheme has produced more let downs than I can remember. I no longer believe that Lesley has the answers.

No, Jordan, you don't get a redo in games that are in the past... But, you do get a chance to make changes in your play calling, and how you coach in the games to come... The problem is, there are similar situations that play out in big games, or during pivotal moments in games, that seem extremely familiar, yet nothing ever changes! That's what is making most people feel like we are seeing the same heartbreaking loss time and time again after hearing how things have been fixed, and how good everything is looking before the season, when in reality it's heartbreaking loss after heartbreaking loss where things look and feel eerily the same, and with the same terrible outcome for our Mountaineers!! 😞 On to the next one I guess! BEAT KANSAS!! LET'S GOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS 👏👏🏈🇺🇸
I have no confidence that Jordan “Easy Fix” Lesley has the ability to get our secondary right. He’s running a bad scheme and his playing calling is even worse. Simply does not have the ability to coach an effective defense.

I wont go into how a back not suited for East west runs was asked to do just that on back to back plays, or on the 3rd down, ask your QB, who isnt a drop back QB to drop back and get sacked. ya, must be the players.

There are a dozen NCAA football teams in the nation that suck up all the 4 and 5 star talent. The rest including WVU get an occasional 4 star but mostly 3s and 2s. All teams in the Big 12 are similarly situated in that they have to coach those 2s and 3s to a higher level. WVU does not have a coaching staff to accomplish success.
The guys can't cover, can't tackle, can't catch an INT when it's thrown right into their numbers. They constantly play ten yards off of the receiver and they consistently get torched. This is not a new phenomenon, this has been the story since Lesley took over. If he REALLY wants to take ownership, he should step aside and allow someone a chance to right the ship. God knows Brown doesn't have the balls to force him and apparently no one in the athletic department cares enough to intervene.
