Hi Sanjay! First off all thx for your immense effort - i found the videos very helpful. Now a question: I just ordered the speakers, but i wonder where to connect to the subwoofer. is it the "Extension"-output? Thx 4 Info!
Great question. You'll need to get a powered subwoofer that is meant to be used with studio monitors (get one that has 1/4" jacks or RCA inputs). You will route the output from your audio interface or computer to the subwoofer first and then the subwoofer will have outputs that route to the JBL 104s.

Hey Sanjay, enjoyed your review! I bought these out of impulse and now I'm not sure if I would even be able to use them with my Focusrite solo? Do you think I'll be able to connect it using a 2RCA to 2 RCA Male to Male cable only or do I need to upgrade my interface? Thanks! :)
The JBLs have both RCA and 1/4" inputs, so you should be fine.
im new to this stuff and i was wondering if I can just use studio monitors without an audio interface? So do i need a audio interface to connect the studio monitors to my computer or can i just connect the studio monitors to my computer without the audio interface because i dont need a microphone at all i just need studio monitorssss
You connect you through the input to headphone in the front
Hi Sanjay thanks for all the great videos. What else would you recommend at this size. Other than the iLouds that is. Talking purely about portability. Thanks again :)
