    Hi Grant and thanks for your awesome and inspiring videos! Do you think it would be possible to also do this with dynamic data? Not duplicating the "tiles" but use Bricks Query loop instead and pull in data from a custom post type with a custom field for the background image?

      @GrantAmbrose  Год назад

      thank you for the kind words :) Yeah you could definitely set that up quite easy with Bricks' query loop

    I have a scenario for this feature. Imagine i have 3 color variations of a particular product in my hero section.
    How do i hook this interaction with woocommerce such that the correct product details are sent to the backend depend on which product color is chosen by the buyer?

      Hmm I’m not too sure, sorry. It sounds like you’re looking for an feature that would need AJAX and would query the database ?

    Hi again. How do I write the CSS if I wanna use this method for with background videos instead of background images? root [custombg="skateboarding" ]{background-image:# }. There is no background-video property as far as I know? Any idea on how to make this work?

      hmmm I actually am not sure on that one. I've never really set background videos. Maybe you need to position absolute a video element behind the text layer and change that using interactions?

    Hi grand, at this time, bricks 1.6.2 is almost unusable due to its builder lag, I think it is only happen to me, but in fact happen o other users also and it's so frustating. Are feel the same lag?

      It's definitely a known issue. I luckily have not experienced it myself but the Bricks team know about it. I think they have a fix for it so maybe in the next release it will be good - fingers crossed!

    You can maybe add a class that overrides the default background image to the header section instead of doing all that root thing.

      Yeah you could do it many ways. Using this custom attribute you don’t need to remove any classes before adding the next as you’re directly replacing it so it seems simpler in my head. Try doing it with classes and I think it will be more work

    Hi and thanks for this tutorial, honestly I was doing the same thing when I wanted to have a clickable parent elements, however it's not a good practice and it's better to use :: before css technique for the heading to get the same result without changing the block (div) html. I followed one of Kevin's tutorials and learnt how to do that. Also, another guy published a new tutorial about how to do that. If I find that tutorial I'll reply to this comment.
    The following is one of the tutorials, however this is a comprehensive tutorial about this .

    Or have a look at the below tutorial from 14:00 for simpler way.
