This is simply amazing, Grant. Tnx for taking the time. I'm member of the ACSS group and the Inner Circle of Digital Ambition. I'm promoting your videos there if I think it could be of value for the other members. Are you in there too?

Great example of how to incorporate functions into controlling the flow where elements are hidden or exposed. Good stuff.
"The Dept. Of Redundancy Dept.": My suggestion is the video was a bit "wordy" and you repeated the same phrases over and over. I think working on a more concise tutorial would help people focus on the answer to achieve the desired result would be good for presentation. It would also provide more time and bandwidth to take your example further after explaining the fundamentals. Remember we can always go back and listen again in these videos and your providing topic points along the timeline is very useful.
Thanks for the ideas I was able to see right away a use case for in the first 2 mins :)

Nice, but since the logic code is on the backend, how would you deal with it, if the page uses caching e.g wp rocket? It would then have cached that the shop is opened. Is there a way in bricks to make a caching exception for this section or do we really need javascript for it?

There would be a way to expire the cache once out of hours (I did a search just now and there seems to be ways) but I'm not sure how to do it myself personally - sorry!

Could you do a version using CPT and custom fields?

I'm a bit confused. Why complicate this with having to write any custom code when bricks can check against a custom AND OR multiple custom fields?
Like why hard code these dates & times into PHP / functions that should you need to change either, you have to go to writing code vs simply change the data in a custom field and save?
Lastly, in regards to any 3rd party plugin that deals with calendar / time that bricks can read data from (gravityforms, jetengine, metabox, etc.) Why would anyone want to hard code dates / times into a php function?

yeah you could use an options page, I just did PHP here because I was focusing more on the bricks echo{ } feature

Having issue with this as getting a warning on the front end where element should show: Warning: Undefined array key "Sat" in public\wp-content\plugins\wpcodebox\src\Runner\PhpSnippetRunner.php(22) : eval()'d code on line 34
Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, null given in public\wp-content\plugins\wpcodebox\src\Runner\PhpSnippetRunner.php(22) : eval()'d code on line 34

whatever is on line 34 is not an array in your code. Any idea why?
