There is some truly awesome road-building in this episode. The messiness of the ultra-satisfying interchange is indeed very realistic, especially when combined with the urban development adjacent to it. Sooooo good. 😮
Imperatur, your builds are amazing! you are probably one of, if not the best cities skylines player, and i thank you for how many videos u put out! and also, i take sooo much inspiration from you 😅
Watching your videos really has made me realize I need to get over "respecting the topography". Between that and trying to follow RL guidlines on slopes with roads and rail can make city building an exercise in frustration in CS.
Your builds are always so creative! If you take a lot of inspiration from New York, you should check out the area around the High Bridge that spans between Manhattan and the Bronx, if you don't already know about it! Lots of spaghetti roads, cool infrastructure, and parks, with lots of history!
One of the things I find most fascinating about New York is how it shows the impact of the battle between car and pedestrian-centered infrastructure. Some areas have been able to preserve their pre-car design, while others have succumbed to the changes brought on by "progress". Personally, I prefer European cities that prioritize pedestrians over cars, rather than the car-centric culture found in the United States and parts of Asia. However, I still find impressive these builds that are able to make both work together.
Awesome build, as usual, I'm definitely stealing that passenger train station look. As a New Yorker, I have a love-hate relationship with the BQE, probably has some of the worst traffic in the city, is poorly maintained, and has been under constant construction for my whole life, but you get an amazing view of the city driving through it at certain sections.
Imperatur, with all that spaghetti, people will find it hard to believe that your German, but I think the industry areas gives it away! 🤣🤣🤣 Amazing build as usual! 👍👍👍
Hey imperatur, I have a request for you. Can you build a proper education hub on a separate island which includes 3 types of universities and research centers too. And making it pedestrian only island will be a nice one . 😅
Honestly, I simply am unable to build those kind of abominations. I build cities I think would be nice places to live in, and seeing giagantic road networks that are enormous sources of acustic and air polution as well as an attack to ones eyes is something I can't stand. They look quite realistic tho, good video.
As far as I can tell, the roads are the only thing they worked on. Except the math - turning it into kindergarden math so they can understand it. Oh, and the people's teeth.
this looks great, but too few traffics in the roads looks weird. I am not sure why there are so few traffic - 1. maybe the public transport is too good 2. they have reduced the number whatever they have done, may be developers need to tweak it a little bit to increase the total number of traffic on the road.

You've always been so creative with vanilla tools. In CS1 as well. These builds are truly inspiring!
Thanks man!:)

I love the idea of using Paths with retainer walls!!! Also didn't expect you to drop an F bomb lol 😂
Oh shit i wanted to censor that😵
@@imperatur Nah, i thought that was funny as hell lol.
Messy interchanges are beautiful to me for some reason. Please keep this series going!
Once you build spaghetti , you will never build normal. It is just satisfying when it works.
True:D
i really love this format of videos this feels just like the berlin series..
please continue this it’s so fun to watxh

Thanks bro I appreciate it:)
Your skill in building complex, multi-level networks is simply astonishing.

Omg yes!! That’s actually one of my favorite parts of the whole city!!😍
I always love your unique interchange it just so smooothhh
🥰🥰
The "OK let's go!" builder making road pasta, what's not to like?! Love this creative stuff, you elevate it to a higher level.
Beautifully executed, love the way all your builds look realistic despite only using vanilla tools
you could maybe add some overhead throughout the city as it’s realistic for it to be overhead in some open areas

Mess, organic and chaos how cities actually work and flow 😀 - nice
I have only took the bqe only 3 times and I am a New Yorker but I think you did a good job creating such a messy expressway

Yeah i can imagine!
🐐 from now on I’m just gonna drop the goat from here on out
I will wait for it each episode:D
Gosh I love the commentary !!
Road building is the only real reason i bought this game. And your videos are the only real reason i like this game
i love imperatur
Love you back❤️
tbh, i love spaghetti interchanges just for how weird and incredible they looks
Brutally good, but the song after is even a bigger banger!!! haha

New format is great! Don't change anything.
Bueno! I like the height difference. Looks spectacular!
Can you do a cloverleaf interchange from Highway to street. Highway exit to street, street to highway can you do it please.
I want to know your secret for making such good roads. few people make roads like this you're the only person I look at more because of it
Good videos and your german humor cracks me up.
damn you have 1 billion in your budget🤑🤑!!!! that's awesome, my budget could barely stay surplus😥😥
Great stuff as always Imperatur. Do you not like using Dev mode?

Wait, how did you go below level at around 03:00? is that a mod? (i haven't tried yet lmao)
Legend😊
Wait are cargo trains still running backwards?
man do you have any suggestions about instant crashes most of the players faced it but it seems you didn't or figured something about it
Sorry but how did you adjust the place where the path is?
What do you mean?
@@imperatur at 2:20 btw you place a path and drag it to where you want it to be. How did you do that?
voice over is back!
your techniques are so helpful
Nice🔥
my headphones omg
When you play not recording do you still automatically keep the camera still 😂
No not really:D
Its missing a castle 😁
wow 😳😲

Honest opinion: CS1 OR CS2?
this looks great, but too few traffics in the roads looks weird. I am not sure why there are so few traffic -
1. maybe the public transport is too good
2. they have reduced the number
whatever they have done, may be developers need to tweak it a little bit to increase the total number of traffic on the road.
