Also, props to you for keeping the camera still as you work, it makes the viewing experience so much better. If it was me I'd be zooming and spinning to look at every small road segment I've put down 😅
The road tools are incredible but at the same time to sensitive, for example the impossibility to build "on water" is really a hindrance, especially when trying to build dock roads... very frustrating!

You make building infrastructure look so easy. I’m generally finding the new road tools positive, but every now and again it’s a pain in the backside!!!!
road tool is nice. but it is a little inconvenient to size up and down frequently, If I manage some broad area, it is no problem, but If I mimic some tiny part, I have to size long way down from 200~300radius to 30~50. There may be three icons like big, mid, tiny to jump up the radius level and then I may size up and down tweak.
Hey a tip, it looks like you're not using TAA. Go in the game advanced graphic settings, and under antialiasing method choose TAA, it is miles better than smaa! Otherwise, great video!

Usually the stone quarry is used in harbor like sites to simulate some form of "stone, ore, grain" storage (you would probably terraform a small hill inside for the stored stones), but since this isn't a cargo harbor I was also confused.
Quays remain a challenge, but the road tools themselves are great. It is incredibly easy to make a good looking highway. The tools also offer excellent control over road height.
The collision with bridge columns is VERY frustrating! Also making piers sometimes when level of water is too high or you forget to connect roads. The road construction mode should be like the anarchy that allow you to select bridge - elevated - to terrain mode, or also the constant slope, rather than follow the terrain (if you forget to terraform). Great video as always, anyway!

Two things that are insanely frustrating for me. First one is building long and straight roads. Second how easy it is, or rather broken, to mess up grids for zoning. Out of the blue it decides to split perfectly straight greed in the middle in identical road layout. One time it is good other time completely broken. Worst part is that it seems to be random.
The new road tool is great at creating intersections and slip oanes, but is super frustrating. We need LEVELING tool, not just adjusting fixed height. Also, the advance road tool is not as good as TMPE. Building bridges is pure shit. The pillars are non-existant. Bridge just float in the air. Very realism, much real. Good job CO. We still need Move It mod after.
Enjoyed your CS1 Videos so much. But these CS2 Videos are too fast paced, the lighting of the map is bad and with all those strong coloring of the assets (especially the grid at the roads covering everything in grey) while building it is not enjoyable to see the city grow and to see all the fine the details for what I love you videos for. 🙁 And after all is built we just have some seconds to see the result in clear view.
i can't do anything about the colors, it's the game, and now it is 4 times instead of 3 times, that shouldn't be a big deal, also i can't really move the camera like before because we, have no mods for that

The amount of patience you have redoing each lane of a road is astounding.
An easier way to build road quays is to do it on dry land, so just put a barrier in the water that connects to the part you want to build the quays.
