For the laundry counters--when you get demo and wall building ability, you can build horizontal walls! So you can make a little washer/dryer enclave and put wood on the "wall" as a counter--it'll be thicc but it'll work.
The whole part after Katelyn took over for the final house tour had me laughing so hard!! From the discovery of the final prank (and then calling it a poop knife), to Evan selling it by saying, “let me start out by asking this… do you even like music?” 😂

I believe the TV is supposed to be eye level when you're seated, most people keep it waaay too high. There's an organization that tells you the size of a TV (really your viewing angle vs distance, basically the field of view the tv takes up) for optimal viewing. Believe it or not you can go TOO BIG, butt hen again if you're viewing it from 15 or 20 feet then you can go with a pretty big tv, 75 inches or more and fit the guidelines. Picking the right size TV has a lot to do with how much your eyes have to move to go from corner to corner, it actually becomes taxing on your eyes and so having a tv that's too big can make watching a movie or gaming tiresome.
Put a base kitchen cabinet between the washer and dryer; you need towel bars in the bathroom and move the light switch inside it. // Hum, you have a driveway and car port, but no way to get to the drive from the street!
If you like house flipper have you tried hotel renovator, which is a lot like house flipper but you are renovating a hotel and renting out the rooms which you have to keep clean

I have been curious how the switch version measures up with PC, though, since I have the first on PC with the garden add-on, but not the pets. I've seen an announcement that saidnit is cue on Xbox & PS5 towards the end of March, and it has been rated for switch, so that sounds like it is in the works. It took them quite a while to bring the first one out on Switch, so it might take a while for HF2 to drop for it.
I haven't watched till the end yet so don't know if you finished in time. But if I were to do this I think i'd count each room and divide 3 hours by that number to see roughly how much time I should spend in every room. 3 hours seems super long but for me at least I feel like it would pass suuuuper quickly and I would hyperfocus on the first one or two rooms and not finish lol. This was a pretty small house so maybe there would be no risk of that happening but even so my brain loves dividing things up that way. And when I get absorbed in things I tend to forget the passage of time.
If it were a bigger house, that probably would be a good approach. This was small, plus didn't need as much doing as some of the houses. The new copy4paste tools have been a big help in speeding things up in HF2, too. I remember one of the old HF streams Katelyn spending soooo long just choosing the right sofa, where as in this one they just had to change the colour of it saved so much time. The bathroom having all its necessities & not needing fixtures and just needing the change tool to alter colours probably cut about half an hour to an hour off what HF1 would have been (where you have to fit the plumbing first and pray you did it right for the positioning lol). So I think if it were a bigger house or needed more doing, maybe then I'd break up the time. But then, I worry that it could maybe spoil it, as you'd constantly keep a check on the time and worry if you were going over so, idk. Everyone works different, I think. I know the way Evan just was cleaning so haphazardly at the start was driving me nuts lol.

Idk that you can cut the grass in this one. At least, if you can, then they haven't unlocked it yet (they haven't even unlocked building & demo yet). They did clean it up a bit outside in the beginning by selling a bunch of dead plants and shrubs. But unlike the first House Flipper where they also had the add on Garden Flipper, I think it is very limited in what you can do outside at the moment...but even in the original HF ones idk that they are really into the garden side of it. They put lights up, and obviously Evan got a little silly with the rock band & sign. But when you can't mow the grass, it feels a bit pointless to start planting flower beds, etc. But I also don't know how much difference the outside makes on HF2 sales prices 🤷. Personally, I would absolutely have either moved or deleted the bin and probably painted the exterior (if possible), but it is what it is. I don't think the outside mattered much to them as part of the flip, tbh, especially with them being on a time crunch due to Evan's back pain.

It sounds like when my dishwasher’s heating component/vent turns on, and I usually let it air dry because I can only handle the sound for so long. In other words, I have to break this video up over several days cuz after a while it’s all I can hear or focus on. Very curious what’s causing the sound, cuz I’ve never heard it in your videos prior to now.
