Can't stop crying... this generation, despite not being my first one, will forever stay my favorite, and all the musics I discovered along the way give a good explanation why 😌
So far, only three games have made me shed tears with their music: Pokemon X, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and Fire Emblem Fates. Just goes to show that the right music at the right time can be powerful against the heart.
Undergrowth the Sceptile, Jaw the Mightyena, Skyrider the Latios, Tsunami the Vaporeon, a Gyarados and a Ninetales. Thank you ORAS, and all parties involved. I'm leaving my team and character to forever relax in the Lavaridge hot springs...and my heart.
10 years ever since these absolute masterpieces came out.. 🥺 oras will always remain my most favourite pokemon games forever for just how amazing they truly felt in everything (story, themes, characters, everything-) they are truly such peak games in my personal opinion and even if they weren't my first pokemon games, they are my most favourite and I love them with all of my heart and I still can't believe it- time flies.. 🥺❤ to anyone reading this, I hope you'll have a great morning, day, afternoon, evening and night and always remember to take care & look after yourself and stay hydrated, you got this!! ^^
I got alpha sapphire in 2016. My first ever Pokemon game given to me by my cousin. However, I didn’t own a 3DS, and when I got one it was a 2DS that came with Pokémon Sun pre-installed. And so, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire lay there unplayed. Over the years, I tried and tried to play it and get into it, but the furthest I ever got was up to Norman. But a few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to play the game. After 6 years. Just before Scarlet and Violet came out. And I beat it. And it was… phenomenal. I loved every second of it. I don’t know what changed, but it was incredible playing through it in full after all those years. I stayed in Petalburg and kept farming the grass until I found a Ralts (which I remember you could get them where wally catches one since the originals, it also ended up being the female variant) and I used it for every gym battle all the way to the elite 4 that Ralts was in nearly every picture where it shows your MVP pokemon in the gym battle for that town, and getting to see it grow from a lowly level 3 Ralts that only knew Growl, to a Kirilia and finally a BA Gardevoir that could 1 or 2 hit nearly every pokemon up to the elite four, was just tearjerking. especially since I had done the same thing in my old RSE games nearly 10 years before playing these remakes when I was 10, the nostalgia of these themes, and watching my Ralts grow to be the badass she is, was just an amazing experience. Well played Game Freak, well played.
i had the same feeling only with a torchic i sat there like "Go you little torchic make me proud just like 10 years ago learn double kick win the first gym battle wipe out all other gyms even take wallace" and he ended up still being on my team actually

I was pleasantly surprised when the game credits recreates every one of your important battles, down to showing the Pokemon that (I assume) was on the stage against the opponent's final Pokemon. Seeing my Torchic in the first battle against the rival, and then Aron (who knows Dig) against Wattson's Magneton, and Azumarill against Wally's Mega Gallade, and finally Blaziken, the last man standing against Steven's Mega Metagross; all of these 3D snippets really harkens a nostalgia for my playthrough, and I had literally just finished the game.

This is pretty good! I still miss the original myself. I like it without the town themes in between the ending theme. I'm sure they did it for a reason, though and it'll be much more to my liking when I'm actually playing it.
I think it's because of how they were showing through all the towns you went to, so they matched the music a bit. I think it does fit nicer when you can see the visuals, than when just listening to it without visuals. XD

Listening to this after watching the latest trailer for SV, because god damn these are games made with the love for the fans. And this theme is the representation of that.

I've bee wondering that myself. I'm not sure but it sounds like a variation on X and Y's ending theme.
It's Sootopolis City's theme
That's the city in the crater (the one with all the water)

I dunno, BW1 just feels better to me. I really like this ending theme though.
bw1 had an epic feel to it while this one has a nostagia feel. I think this ending theme is perfect for ORAS
BW1 had the amazing story to it, that's why it's my favorite. It's the only game (other than Explorers of Sky) that actually made me wept. I mean come on, how it ended for N, it was pure beauty. ;u;
