- Watch our Introduction video on the book of Leviticus, which outlines the book's main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus. How can we live in God’s presence? The answer is given to us in the book of Leviticus. If we are ever to dwell with God we must become like God, we must be holy as he is holy. Atonement provided a temporary way to take our darkness and make it light, but we needed a more permanent solution. That is why Jesus, who is God's light itself, took on our darkness to make us holy like him.

I never got the gospel until a friend explained the sacrificial process of the old testament. A fantastic gift from God salvation.
Wow. In tears watching this. Thank y’all for all of your hard work, thoughtfulness, and artistry. The gravity of our sin and Jesus’ sacrifice is depicted so well in this. I ended the video compelled to worship Him for this precious gift of salvation through His sacrifice.

Honestly that was perfect! I’m emotional right now and thankful to Jesus for being an amazing loving God! He rescued us and die for us. You guys just explained so well a complicated book in the Bible and how ridiculous it may sound all the rituals for someone who doesn’t know God’s holiness but you see the severity of God’s Holiness! Wow, I'm blown away! I love how you are able to explain such dense ideas in such a poetic yet succinct way so that I can really grasp it! I'm a new Christian and I remember trying to blow through Leviticus because I was so...well disturbed by all of the animal sacrifices and the blodd spattered alters. I just didn't get it. But that line "We have to see how much it costs to take our stains and make them white. We need to see that something has to die to take our darkness and make it light." suddenly I understand by the imagery was so detailed and gruesome, but in reading it alone I didn't understand the message behind it, which you so clearly illustrated through this amazing piece of art! THANK YOU!

I've watched this video so many times, practically on repeat, and that ending still brings me nearly to tears. Very similarly to what avengers endgame did i kid you not. The best part by far is that what this video talks about is real. I love it!
I'm currently going through the bible in one year course and I got really stuck on Leviticus and it's understanding until I gone back on your old podcasts on it, your interview with David Murray & now this video. I appreciate your insights, a perspective that never goes unnoticed.
I have three chapters left to finish reading/studying Leviticus. I asked the Holy Spirit to lead me and by chapter 11, things began to become very clear. Leviticus is not a "difficult" book for me anymore. Everything explained in this video is what the spirit revealed to me.

It may seem convoluted but I feel like this makes sense. We have to have some assurance that we are in good standing with GOD. These helped TEMPORARILY. GOD found a way to make this assurance eternal and that is through Christ.

Oh my wow, I knew where it was heading even though Iv read the gospels but Iv just started on Leviticus it’s the one book for years Iv ignited because I couldn’t get it, yiu come along with this series and wow I knew it was great tge bibke I knew the offerings of the lamb were the first prophecies if gage ultimate perfect lamb tgst was to die for our sins I knew it was leading up to it and I’m 42 years old male and I was in tears, God is amazing he’s a genius he glorious he’s perfect I can’t even see what I’m typing now as still in tears he gave the ultimate sacrifice when he didn’t have to do it he could have let us destroy ourselves but he came down as flesh within his only son, only Jesus Christ could die for our sins because to pay for our sins you needed to meet the following criteria;
Must be
Born in Bethlehem
Born at an Inn (ancient wine cellar)
Be visited by wise men
Be given Gold, frankincense, Myrrh
Be raised and protected in Egypt
Be took to Nazareth
Be called a Nazarene
Be perfect
Be sinless
Born to a virgin
Be baptised
Perform wondrous miracles
Preach and teach on Temple Mount
Ride into Jerusalem on a donkey
Heal the sick
Cast out devils
Had to be persecuted
Suffer in the desert against the devils temptations, for forty days and forty nights
“He was wounded for our transgressions
Crushed for our inequities
By his wounds we are healed”
Isaiah 52-53
Must be tortured
Must die on the cross (crucified by nails driven into hands and feet)
Be called King of the Jews
Come from the House of David, be a direct descendant of the House of David
Must be able to defeat death
Rise from the dead 3 days later
Destroy the temple
Be witnessed by over 2,500 people after death,
Roman soldiers will write about what they can’t believe they have seen, a dead man rise from the dead
Visit his 12 disciples
Ascend to heaven
Have his story told by four gospels
He had to meet all this criteria and more, of what was prophesied in the Old Testament, by Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Deuteronomy, Leviticus, Numbers, and more. Over 450 Prophecies
So only Jesus Christ met all the criteria, only Jesus Christ our only God, our Only King, Our Only Lord, Our Only Saviour.
I thank you Jesus Christ with every piece of my soul for giving me the greatest gift of all history, “Life” and entering your creation to die for our sins, to be the perfect lamb.
