As a 37 years old learning the piano for the first time, I've been following your teaching on this RUclips channel and it's been really great experience learning from you. Your teaching is easy to follow and it improves my piano skill every day. Thank you so much!
Hi Lisa you are a little fast for us beginners, so I will have to look at you tutorial over and over again, but I don’t mind that because you are such a great teacher and I could listen to you and your singing all day. Take Care
Almost lost it, Needed something more than the scales , so at a low ( slitting wrist time ) thought to watch Bill Withers part, I could just about play the start , then this great lady sings , and OMG . Thats why im trying to play ,Doh, Really lifts the spirits . Thanks so much .
Just came accross your channel yesterday and can't seem to stop watching your videos and practicing on my keyboard. Love your approach and positivity. I have already learnt quite a bit through watching your videos in a short period of time. Thank you so much! ❤
Angels sing and usually play the harp, but this one plays the piano! Another amazing lesson, Lisa!! Glad to see "Lean On Me" in this list. I remember watching the movie of the same name starring Morgan Freeman and I always remembered this song.
Hi Lisa, I'm a begginer and I am taking this video up after 1 week of practicing your "learn piano in 7days" video. Thank you for the great lessons. One query: 06:58 , is E major supposed to E G# and B? I see the key you pressed was also B, but the text said A.
I really LOVED that you included "Blinding Lights" - i adore Synthwave and that influence is so huge in that song - holy smokes, was i happy to see that in this video!
Hi Lisa! Thanks for your videos! I hope you don't my asking for a simple tutorial on how to play between two points, By the Gilmours (father and daughter)- It's such a lovely song. I'd love to hear you play it and sing it-
Hiya thank you for this I’ve just learnt 3 of the 4 songs (I’m very knew to piano) I usually play these on guitar I’ve just subscribed think you are great 👍
My favourite is The Scientist by Coldplay. I’m gonna learn the melody on guitar and use the piano chords as an accompaniment. You’re a fantastic teacher! Will definitely check out your course on chords 😊
Thank you for this video! I brought an electric piano 2 months ago and now I'm playing Blinding Lights! Maybe in a few months I'll be able to play Ed Sheeran - Perfect from the other video of your channel. Lisa is an excellent teacher
Your presentation is really great, breaking everything down to the simplest form. A little mistake was made in the third song “As it was”. Tried playing the E major keys but they were off a little so I checked it out and found out that the E major keys are E G# and B, instead you said E G# A.
Lean On Me: It is a dminished chord! I do play this song in root position in either C Major or D Major but play a minor 2nd where that diminished chord should be. Thank you for confirming this.
Actually the decision between Eb and D# depends on the key of the song, not if you’re guitar player or piano player. So in this case Eb is okay for F dorian
I’m a beginner and find it to fast to follow. Also I can’t sing and without voice it doesn’t sound appropriate-please help because I do want to learn piano in my older age. Dr. Tom
@@PianoteOfficial I hope you don't mind me mentioning that I made a video playing Lady Madonna at Costco a few days ago. Also, You Are My Sunshine with parents in FL recently.
Thank you for all of the work you put into these lessons. I started learning piano 3 months ago, by myself. I don’t know my chords or can read music - working on it. But I’m focusing on learning Nuvole Bianche. It’s a bit harder than I expected so having breaks and learning something else helps a lot with keeping me motivated!
@prohomespa108 I have been playing guitar for over a year. And I have played Indian Harmonium for at least a year too. Today is the first time I have played keys with both hands like a piano. I can do it all pretty easily. I can play it accurately enough that it doesn't sound bad. Not very good though. But an untrained ear can't tell.
I came for the piano lesson, I stayed for the singing. Love it. Thank you.
Absolutely loving this channel , thank you so much pianote! Gonna buy some books or whatever to support as I’ve gotten so much from your vids!❤

I don't see where the link is for the first song. Can you guide me where to go? Thank you!!
Harry styles and blinding lights was my fav!

really good to have found you! welcome here :)
Love it!
Thanks for watching :)
My favourite is The Scientist by Coldplay. I’m gonna learn the melody on guitar and use the piano chords as an accompaniment. You’re a fantastic teacher! Will definitely check out your course on chords 😊
absolutely awesome
you also got me as your Student for life
I wonder if you have any tips on singing? Can that be taught or is it just “you got it or you don’t”?
Thank you for this video! I brought an electric piano 2 months ago and now I'm playing Blinding Lights! Maybe in a few months I'll be able to play Ed Sheeran - Perfect from the other video of your channel. Lisa is an excellent teacher
I liked to played 🎹 liked MX - 88 keys Yamaha , RD2000 - 88 Roland keys and also LS - 88 keys KORG .
That is so much beyond begginers I’m almost about to retire
what headphones do you have in this video? they look good! i would like to have them
You would absolutely rock a Coldplay cover
Your presentation is really great, breaking everything down to the simplest form. A little mistake was made in the third song “As it was”. Tried playing the E major keys but they were off a little so I checked it out and found out that the E major keys are E G# and B, instead you said E G# A.
Yep, I noticed that, she played it correctly straight after though.
Lean On Me: It is a dminished chord! I do play this song in root position in either C Major or D Major but play a minor 2nd where that diminished chord should be. Thank you for confirming this.
I just started watching your videos and started to wonder in which order should I watch them. Ps. I am a Total newbie to piano
Lovely lessons so far❤️💯👌
Can you please do "All I have to Give" by Mali Music?
I'll check it out!
Actually the decision between Eb and D# depends on the key of the song, not if you’re guitar player or piano player.
So in this case Eb is okay for F dorian
This was great!! It would be helpful if you told us the Key of each song. In case we want to get a deeper understanding
good thinking-- at least you can know these are all the original keys of the songs!
Nice.
I’m a beginner and find it to fast to follow. Also I can’t sing and without voice it doesn’t sound appropriate-please help because I do want to learn piano in my older age. Dr. Tom
Too fast for a beginners like me
Same
While she is a bit quick for new players I set the video to .5x speed. It helps.
Same
definitely not for beginners!!!
It is for beginners, you should probably practice a bit more
I love your videos Francesca but I only know songs before 1980. By the way, I'm learning Music Box Dancer from you and will upload it soon. Thank you.
now you know some more :) We'll have lots more songs coming soon tho ill try to get some older ones as well!
@@PianoteOfficial I hope you don't mind me mentioning that I made a video playing Lady Madonna at Costco a few days ago. Also, You Are My Sunshine with parents in FL recently.
I would love for you to play my song about Bette Midler And I ' You Play So Pretty ! 😊
Thanks! I have one song request….can you teach us the song “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong ? Thanks!!❤️
ill definitely put it on the list!
Thank you for all of the work you put into these lessons. I started learning piano 3 months ago, by myself. I don’t know my chords or can read music - working on it. My playing has increased like super
Aside she’s great tutor; This chick has a beautiful voice..
How come the F chord is C-F-A? Isn't it F-A-C with the thumb in F? Sorry for the dumb question, I'm really a beginner. Thank you in advance.
For beginners huh?
Looking very difficult! 😂
