Making a Blacksmiths Dishing Stump

In order to make my Rivendell Guard cosplay armour, I need the right equipment. So this week I did a fun weekend project of making a wooden swage block, i.e. a dishing stump!

Very nice! A much needed tool for this type of project I'm sure. Nice to see your dad helping you with this bit of the project... my dad is great with wood working so whenever I have a woodish project, I know where to go.
