    Worked great on about 6"-8" of average snow starts to struggle a bit past 8". ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN Very light weight and the chute spin control works well. For the low price you get a ton of value. My only complaint is managing the cord as it does take a fair bit of effort to watch and pull the cord out of the way. I found myself having to whip the cord out of the way a lot when I needed to make one way passes to mange the blow direction. It's less of an issue when you can work both directions. A battery powered version would be a lot easier to handle but that is also double the price and requires battery care. I chose the corded version so I didn't have to worry about batteries but I do now see how much work the cord is. I let my neighbor borrow it and it outperformed his smaller gas blower, he was totally sold. Very pleased with the power and operations.My only suggestion is to spend a bit more on a cordless version if you have budget for it. The cord is a bit more of a headache than I thought it would be. Very pleased with the Snow Joe brand and quality.

    @carp306 The Hero is a Park Board, it's made for jibbing. It ain't an alround board, but doesn't mean u would be unable to carve. There are just better options for carving and Freeride out there. I'm not that involved in Snowboard brands that I could name u every option u have, but if u look for a carving board at high speed u can choose between an alround board that ain't as flexy as a park board or u take a race board. Maybe there's a flexy allround board out there but I don't know I'm sorry

    @RGuiskate you can learn with any board, but the rocker boards do tend to make it easier to press out farther because of the reverse camber shape. I think you'll be fine. Look up snowboard addictions intro to buttering. They break everything down into bite size pieces. Go to their website, it's in the free lessons section, and they make you sign up for a newsletter for part 2, but not buy anything. Anyway, welcome to the sport.

  • @Rav3nous08

    Most park oriented manufacturers like Capita, Stepchild, and Rome will have a lot of flexible boards. Maybe the Horrorscope, Latchkey, or Artifact (in their respective orders)? I haven't ridden them, but they should be pretty flexible.

  • @Mu5ik4Life
    @Mu5ik4Life 11 лет назад

    Actually, almost all board companies make different camber/ boards with different flexibility rating. For example, I have a burton hero which is reverse camber and super flexy. Its great for jibbing and butters.

    @sierrasnowboard This is tough. At my local snowboard shop, everyone rides contraband. The contraband's seem to have mixed opinions. Almost everyone else I have asked between the two, has said the 390s. At heart, I really do love the 390s. I had kept an eye on them all of last season. Only problem is, the color of the bindings would be dull on my board. (2009 Ride Society) The bindings are black and white. I know functionality is more important, but from what I've stated, which would you choose

    Depends how flexible the board is. I don't know anything about the K2 Vandal but if its a park board with a low flex rating it should be super easy to butter.

    snowboard can handle a alot of weight, it all depends on the height of you and possibly getting a wider board than a slim line board. Honestly any board would work, especially on a blue + slope. Normally the board should be length to your chin or nose (smaller the board, more reaction you get, as longer the board to your height will be harder to to react with). Hope it helped

    okay so this video helped me out with a bunch of stuff and was very helpful. but when i pressed on the tail and turned my body, by the time i get at least 180 degrees around, i can't seem to turn the board around anymore. Rarely when i do, the board ends up flat and then i start involuntarily braking. i can't even do it when standing still, cuz then the pressed end of my board just digs into the snow. i have a 2010 lib tech skate banana and just started learning tricks by the way.

    @carp306 Custom flying V is definately a good board and flexy as well. Should make pops easy as hell :) But didn't get the chance to ride it yet. I guess a Burton Hero should do its job even as it isn't that flexy. Still the hero will be my next board, had fun with it.

    I can't seem to get a full rotation with my butters while going down the hill. I feel like I'm going to catch a heel edge when my weight is on the front foot while rotating. I have a 2011 Ride Machete board so I feel as if I should be able to do this trick. I have my bindings set up at the normal distance apart. Should a set up a wider stance for better balance and rotation? I'm having trouble flexing the board with the regular stance but I don't want to sacrifice pop by taking a wider stance.
