Bought a Predator 8 4x32 for my Browning x bolt pro McMillan in 7PRC and it wouldn’t zero at 100 yards. Talked to their customer service and was told to buy Burris signature rings with the shims. This didn’t work ! Sent my scope back to them under warranty, they told me there is nothing wrong with it. $2500 scope that won’t zero at 100 yards. Not sure what to do . The place I bought it from won’t take it back so it looks like I’m out that money. I will never buy anything from Steiner again!
I purchased three brand new Steiner open bridge 7x50 Commanders at a price of $1500 each. I retuned all three of them. Absolute junk and proof that "German Engineering" is nothing but German propaganda. The first one I returned because the left eyepiece was not assembled correctly by the "precise" German craftsmen causing half of the image in the left barrel to be out of focus all of the time. The second one I returned because the "fine" German craftsmen didn't clean in between the eyepiece lens elements correctly leaving blemishes inside the lenses. The third one I returned because the "professional" German craftsmen who assembled the unit got glue all over the outside, let it dry and actually sold it like that instead of immediately scrapping it! I ended up buying a Fuji FMTR which is superior optically and mechanically in every single way but costs half as much as the Steiner. I was shocked that anybody would sell such an inferior product like the Steiner Commander for such a high price. The Commander might compete with other Chinese made optics costing around $200 but certainly not anything surpassing $1000. They should change the name from "Commander" to "Scallywag"
@@canadaintheroughtv Ok, don't believe me? Go buy a pair and you can find out for yourself. Better yet. Go buy a Commander for $1500 and compare it to a Fuji FMTR 7X50 for $800. If you still think that the Commander is worth $1500 then you need your prescription updated.
We’ve been using Steiner products for over a decade. We’ve been to the Steiner factory. We’ve never seen, nor heard of such a tale as you tell, yet you had THREE problems and just so happen to be ready to promote the solution? lol…come on. Show some proof
More people need to see this video! This marketing really sold me LOL. And I already took the plunge, just buying a Steiner M8Xi 1-8 LPVO scope.
Great to hear!
Every one can get a task done, but German precision is something else.
They sure do optics well
Crazy how many lenses are in those optics!
Amazing isn’t it
Sheeesh buddy sure put on some weight took me a min to figure out who he was lol.
Are ALL Steiner products made in Germany? Or is it only the upper end products?
My question is why Steiner do not make spotting scopes???
Just launched! so excited

Something smells very fishy with this comment.
