What could be better than a video about leather? You rock.
I love the smell of leather, plus the durability of the material.
I fear I may end up smelling the leather more than actually using it for the intended purpose of storing pens. .....unless the sole purpose is just to sniff the material ( some issues I put myself through are unbearable at times).

This is a timely video. I am pen roll shopping now. I have 2 Ashton pen wraps in the mail. I wanted a Superior Labor but they were out of stock and I found a great sale price on the Aston and they looked very nice, well made and sturdy. But I will be looking for another soon, I like the looks of both the Galen and the Superior Labor. I’ll have to watch this video a few more times.
Update: I got the Aston wraps and they are small and stiff. I had to use a leather conditioner and roll them for some time to make them a little playable. I bought a Superior Labor wrap and it’s perfect.
Funny this popped up as a recommendation, because I AM trying to decide between the two.
I have the Galen Leather one and love it! I particularly like being able to access the pen in the leftmost pocket without having to unroll it, but it's still well-protected

Those are both very nice wraps, Azizah - excellent comparison, tho' personally, I prefer the less fussy, Galen - it's larger, less expensive, & in truth, I prefer the 'unrefined' finish; of course, you assert that it is more, "rugged", & I would have to concur. The Superior Labor wraps, whilst nice, aren't my thing - the buckle puts me off - you might as well employ a full sized leather satchel - but that's a personal perspective.
Just as an aside, at 7.09 you're placing a (second) pocket knife in the Galen wrap ? Can you tell me the type & brand, & from where you purchased same, please - it looks really sturdy - almost industrial.

This was a highly useful and informative video and one I would have appreciated before I bought my superior labor pen pouch LOL! I absolutely love mine however it would have been nice to know there was a cheaper, easier version out there - As I said, I love the quality of mine however I hate having to wait for things to come into stock. Hope to see more videos from you in the future!

I think anyone could make a nice thicker veg tanned leather and saddle stitch something, would be a bit cheaper - the chrome tanned stuff seems quite thin.. and the saddle stitching will be a bit nicer than machined stitching too
I just received a Superior Labor wrap for my birthday in May. (From my Wish List of course!) Any thoughts on whether to treat with a leather balm or leather conditioner, or just to leave it alone? Thanks!
So, after three years (lol) which of these held up?
How many of these would you carry around daily near full, i can hardly use more than 3 pens a day. Actually a really nice single might be a thing to discuss.
