    Thank you so much for making this Video. I just used it to successfully take my power head apart as my line had ended with some leftover line still on one side and one side empty so I needed to get the 6" of line out from that side before refilling.. Followed your instructions and it all went very easily once I got the bump button undone. That was harder than it needed to be but I think I must have tightened it up too much last time I refilled the line. Much apprecieated. :)

    I have a FSA 65 which looks like your unit. I followed you instructions, EXCEPT I had to push in on bumper knob to engage the threaded shaft (did not go on like video shows) After assembly and pushing in line, I could not turn the outer serrated knob more than one quarter turn, and that was it. Everything was tight like something was jammed up. Thought about spraying everything with a slippery lubricant to help things along, but wanted advice. Finally took to rewinding around spools and working everything back inside. Trimmer seems to work but haven't used the string bump yet (but it will probably jam up like every other time) Thanks from Covided USA.

    I was watching this on my allotment in Welsh weather 😂. I had to look up how replace the line, to help a fellow community member.
    This helped, but we are thinking there may be a problem with the manufacture of her strimmer.
    Nothing was working smoothly.
    We suspect there is something wrong with the mechanisms.
    I hope it works out.
    Thanks for the tips. 🌱

    • @AustralianPaddock
      @AustralianPaddock  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the comment. Does the trimmer sound nice and smooth with no line installed? It could be a number of things, but if its the line, then you can test it without any line installed. An unbalanced line may cause problems. Good luck.

      @@AustralianPaddock I currently don't know, I'll ask her when I next speak to her.
      I think once her husband takes a look at it, he'll know if it sounds the same or different. This was her first time using it.

    The bayonet part of the bumper moves freely from the body, making it impossible to lock it into position ... it should be fixed to the shaft of the bumper shouldn't it? Is something missing, or should I try a bit of lock tite just to reassemble it?
