Thank you so much of this X axis formatting technique. Coming from Tableau world this type of things was so much easier done in Tableau. Still learning Power BI and your channel is a great resource!
This is brilliant Thank You! I've just used it in my latest report. I've also managed to remove a step by having the returned values in your IF measure at 4:23 as "grey" & "blue" and then at 4:37 just select format by 'field value'. Hope this helps someone. :)
Superb video! I have been trying to figure out how to create a vertical line (in the x axis) in a combo chart with column showing the distribution. Any ideas how that can be solved?
thx!!!! 😀the constant lines you can only add to continuous axes (values or continuous dates). Which I guess is where you got stuck. For categorical fields I don't think there is a way yet unless you overlap visuals
Thank Bas , really impressive videos! Easy to understand. I would like to ask you if it is possible and how to solved the following challenge. I would like to build a waterfall chart between selected month and as many deducted month as input by the parameter. Is that flexibility possible?
I loved that you first showed why the conditional formatting didn't change and then how to fix it, this is a really good way to teach :)

Is there any way to avoid hard coding for the constant line?
How about color only the portion of the bar which is greater than the constant line or the average line? Any pointers ...
