It feels so good to see people appreciating Buss It Down. So many people who've reacted have read the title at face value and thought it was a random slow song with a weird title about twerking and grinding rather than understanding that as a finale song, she's finally at a point where she's saying "the person I end up with is going to love me for who I am, flaws and all, so when that happens, imma buss it down for them and only them ("I'm just trying to prioritize who I grind for..."). Whenever I listen to it, I think of it as a sequel to Body Dysmorphia where she's finally found someone who loves the things she hated about herself and has finally found a happy ending (or at least is content with the fact that she will have one even if she hasn't found it yet). You guys have the best reactions because you actually read the lyrics as you listen to the songs and try to interpret them. That's amazing!

So for context about Black Mascara it’s about a man she trusted who slipped something into her drink that got her addicted… that leads to when she said I forgot which song but she said stains under my eyes (Mascara is black & when you cry it leaves stains)… hard out here mentioned drugged drinks which she explains in Black Mascara… the repetition of you’re done to me on a house beat paints a picture of her being high on whatever was slipped into her drink causing her to be in a trance & it also will never leave her head because she was drugged that’s why she’s trying to get him to understand she trusted him & now you betrayed me in a club so I wouldn’t be aware of what you were doing but after she sobered up she realized what happened now she’s running to her mom’s arms to get away from him… definitely should do the video it will explain it better than I did in a visual way & that video is connected to the Escapism video in Escapism you see her running away from someone crying at the beginning of the video with Mascara running down her face

What an album. Some of the subject matters are heavy, so the beat kind of balance it out. I really enjoyed this album, and I root for her heavily. The industry is sick, and so is society. Songs like Ice Cream Man & Environmental Anxiety are strong messages that needs attention and addressing. I wish her God protection, strength, healing and blessing.
