Pubbè Ananussuthesù Dhammesù!🙏🙏🙏 'I am' so grateful to the universe for sending this Chitta the best of the best Dhamma teachers one can have. Thank you, Swaminwahanse, for sharing your wisdom. This is the need of the hour. The practical approach to Nibbana. There are so many "karmasthanas" in this sermon. 'Sharing is better than giving'. What a profound meaning. 🙏🙏🙏
Namo Buddhaya 🙏🙏🙏🙏I am presently in Srilanka. I was planning to go for the sermons at Gateway college last sunday, but ended up visiting the monastery on saturday, spent about 2hrs in the morning..and taking part in the events afterward. Felt so blessed. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this sermon. I feel very validated in the efforts I’m trying to make to be a better human being. I’ve been getting really hung up lately on the bad choices I made during my daughter’s “terrible twos” it was definitely not easy and what is done and what was not done, is done and in the past. This sermon from the very beginning helped me to sit back in the present moment and accept that I can only do so much in every moment while I wait for others to play their role. Waiting is so bothersome but this sermon made me feel empowered and present with what is and the efforts that I am making now to try and make up for the mistakes I made. I’m feeling compassionate for myself for being as responsible as I could in the storm of crying, screaming and all that comes along with raising a two year old.
We are planning to see you on the 24th. May this life hold on until then oh Lord. ( traveling from overseas). Listening to you, Guru Swaminwahanse and other sermons whenever possible. Looking forward with so much hope. May this life will hold until then. 😊😊😊😊
Every time this ‘Consciousness’ hear and listen to you honorable Swaminwahansa, it says THIS Is the Best, This is the Best sermon so far. Oh Lord, it makes this chiththa soooo happy 😊. May Swaminwahansa and the Sumbuhudda Sasanaya will prevail as long as it due to prevail. May we all become Arahath asap. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wow!! This sermon was profound!! Thank you for the numerous examples, analogies and similies you give, to help simplify abstract and complex concepts, and cement our understanding. They have helped me immeasurably. 🙏
Regarding the Indian man that sued his parents. I followed that story when it was in the news. He didn't sue his parents because he hates them or out of spite. There is this philosophy called anti-natalism that premises on the fact that life is suffering and not being born is the best case scenario. The whole lawsuit was to make a point and get people thinking, he doesn't hate his parents or something. Maybe he is misguided and focusing his efforts in the wrong place but some of these folks eventually look for answers in Buddha's teachings and come across wonderful sermons like the ones on this RUclips channel. I think the anti-natalism philosophy has its place if it can lead one to the final correct path in the Dhamma.
