The Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery channel features English sermons delivered at the monastery. The goal of these sermons is to provide a practical approach to Buddhist philosophy. A talk will be posted every week covering topics ranging from the more philosophical questions of “What is True Path to Happiness?” to downright basics on “Achieving your personal best” and , “How to become the best father, mother, brother, sister, friend, husband, wife… you can be.

My homage to Buddha Dhamma n Sangha 🙏 Am 73 born to a "very relgious "family Had /Have close relations as Sangha but we were not lucky like this ( mertorious?) to hear such meaningful Dhamma when we were young .I should say rarely cz I heard Desana from Most Rev Narada and Piyadassi Theros of Wajirarama at school once in a blue moon Still remember how the tik tok of the grand father clock was made to remember " Life is going Death is coming " Found Dhamma in my fifties Now I live a fullfilled life house arrested from 2015 due to some lung disease . Yes ! Am not depressed but very elated where I call my ill health one of the best things that ever hapened to me A Blessing in Disguise!!! My whole life is Dhamma now finding more n more solace 🙏

How enlightening!
I don’t understand this concept of fairness. I’m white from the USA but very tan more tan than most Indians and yet … when I would travel abroad to India people would still look at me and say oh your so fair lol…. Maybe it’s my blonde hair.. still funny though. I hope more people can transcend this “fairness” obsession and embrace the beautiful sunshine. I’m “fair” and I think your tan is beautiful.
