Put some baking soda in water, mix and use that to rinse always when using this method to stop the vinegar from etching the copper. It neutralizes the reaction.

U can simply clean it with tamarind. It really works well. Just wet the utensil, rub it with tamarind and wash it. If the utensil is too black clean twicely. Just enough.

Yes very true, i was only 12 yrs old in 1960, no sponges, we use only coconut husks,to clean a lot of vessels,with salt n tamarind usually during festivals time. This is nothing of today..

I tried and it Perfect solution for copper, I think we can dip it in viniger and salt solution for some time so it can penetrate to all corner location where the brush cannot go.

Imli aur namkse bhi copper ka utensils jaldi saaf hoota hai. Imli ko paani me thodi der bhigaa ke rakh neka. Imli soft hone ke baad usme badha namak(salt) mix karke achhi tarah se bartan ko laga ke saaf karne ka. Jaldi cleen hota hai.

U can use amchur (kokam) with salt n rub it on copper vessels it will give best result no need to use scrubber too
