Two icons of the 50s, both in their own right. Can't describe how happy I am to see you and to get to enjoy a new episode in the morning again! Thank you sir, and High Octane Classics, for making this possible. Keep healing sir ~ Chuck
@@googleusergp Thank you. I thought he was referring to Steve as a 50s icon. Steve was born December 2nd 1964 in Red Bank, New Jersey. Have a good day and thank you for the information.
@@ReadtheBible88 No, Mr. Magnante was born in July 1964. I'm not sure of his place of birth, but I want to say he was born in New England somewhere or possibly New York City. I remember him stating that some time ago if I remember right.
Wow I must say , considering what you've been through Steve, it's truly a blessing to be able to see you do what you love again. Thanks from all of us for not giving up. Cheers my friend.
I had a collection of 12 55, 56, 57 Thunderbirds. The 57 had a sharper tailfin than the 55 and 56. The 55 Thunderbird was a positive ground 6v system, where 56, 57 were 12v. All 3 can have the portal top and a convertible top. The convertible top stowed away behind the driver seat and it was an option as to what top or tops you got. In 56, the "Continental Tire Kit" was an option, which gave you the external tire and the different rear bumper to accommodate it. The rarest of the baby birds was the F coded supercharged and the E coded dual quad 312ci 57's.
Man 50s and 60s! Definitely some of the most beautiful cars in automotive history! Space age! Jet age styles touches made them all so special! Great video! And love seeing you back on your feet’s again Steve!🙏 hopefully you’ll recover fully!
Something that I always thought was interesting about the tachometers on the 55-57 T-Birds was the fact that they were recording tachs. They had what looked like odometers built into them but what they did was record al the revolution the engine made.
My mom's first new car was a '56 Ford Victoria 4 door sedan. Two tone, white over black. The story goes that the salesman was sweet on her and tried getting her to buy a '56 T-Bird instead. She pointed to her parents and said "where do they sit"? They were buying the car; she was 18 years old. I've got a 8mm film video of the Victoria. That was a sharp car.
Steve! So glad to see you back playing with cars. Just make sure that you don't overdo it. We all want to see you back in your element. But just make sure that you take care of yourself first. We'll all be here for you
Attaboy ! Back at it again , we all missed you , keep it up but don’t over do it , your health is important , and we want you around for a few more decades
Once again, go to see ya back and cranking the videos out Steve! Never was ga-ga over the '55 Chevy. They always looked like a stodgy old lady's car to me. Nothing compared to the other offerings from GM that year. I liked the 50's Thunderbirds a lot. Especially the 1957 models. My very first model i ever built was a '57 T-bird, back in 1967! Painted it Robin Egg blue.
Welcome back Steve! Glad that you're doing better! We've missed you! Praying for you and good health as you continue your inspirational journey! 🙏🏽 👍🏽✌🏽
Welcome home Steve. Great 50's icons. I run a 1952 Buick Roadmaster straight eight here in the UK 🇬🇧 and I am attempting to restore a 1954 Packard Patrician straight eight. I've rebuilt the Packard 359 but almost terminal rust in the body is a problem. I have four other American vehicles here too. A 1948 V8 Ford F5 recovery truck, a 1949 P15 Plymouth Business Coupe, a 1940 Buick Super Eight and a 1953 Chevrolet 3800 box van It was you who got me enthralled with altered wheelbase cars All the best to you and your project Dodge
Good to see you back out and about Steve, you are one of the few RUclipsrs that bothered to reply to any of my comments over the years. You are appreciated!

Great to see you back at it,I'm in my 60s and worked on cars all my life. I think I have learned half of what I know from you. Not only do you know the facts you are a great mechanic and hot rodder too.
My oh my, that’s quite a Hurd of beautiful cars on that lot! I would have to say That 55 Chevy is my pick! I remember riding around a convertible 55 Chevy of similar color on my tricycle! I remember the gold colored v under the taillights! It was a beautiful car! I also remember my Dad holding me in his arms so I could see inside the engine bay of his friends bright red 57 Chevy with a brand new transplanted 348 with tri power that was not stock at all ! it was bored and stroked , with a four on the floor! Moon hub caps with cheetah slicks! It was very fast for that day and age! Wish I could go back! Anyway ! It’s fantastic to see you back! I have certainly missed you! Thanks for an excellent video of two of my favorite cars, from that time period! BE WELL MAG MAN! ❤
Great to have you back Steve, we've missed you!
Thanks Steve...Glad u are feeling well enough to do new videos.

Two icons of the 50s… I don’t understand. Please explain. Thank you.
What I loved about the old cars, you could tell the year of the old cars. Great to see you in the mornings again Steve.
@@ReadtheBible88 Two cars that virtually defined the 1950s. Mr. Magnante isn't a 1950s icon. He was born in the 1960s.
