Winning it all in a year they beat us twice by 3 points each time!!!??? Bad enough to hear about their split and with Miami in the 90’s..this would’ve been a whole other level of smack talking! Now they know how it feels to lose one of these and also what it feels like to lose one of your best offensive weapons right before the championship game! When we lost Carrington to suspension in 2014 I knew we had NO shot against Ohio State and when Johnson got hurt against Texas I knew UW was toast! They became one dimensional and Penix couldn’t save them this time! Great season, tip the cap, but man am I glad they lost!!!
Coach Lanning on the halftime show with the O pin, genius-level stuff. UW loses - kind of can’t ask for much better of a result. Not a Michigan fan at all. I respect UW, what a team they were honestly - a lot of gutsy wins including two against us.

I agree that the idea of the Rose Bowl being the location for the championship game, is a good idea; but the state of California shouldn’t be awarded for fucked off behavior. Same for the rest of the left coast.
