I've developed what I call fromsoft syndrome
It's when from players get to the point where they actually dont care ab the poison swamps anymore they take it ,hate it, and learn to speed run those areas in record time
All while blissfully thinking ab the next boss because said boss opens way to (literally) greener pastures...usually

The thing about the controller grip isn't even something I thought about. I just remember one day my brother was watching me play and started making fun of the way I held the remote. I didn't even realize I had kind of subconsciously developed the habit of using my finger instead of thumb to operate buttons. Dark Souls one just trained me to always have camera control
I have a suggestion change the controls a bit to where you can run and move the camera
Fun fact about Elden Ring: the most recent patch has the legend of Let Me Solo Her struggling against Malenia now.

@@usernamed0189 the patch glitched her heal, and now every attack heals her, whether she touches you or not; i.e. even when you dodge, she heals herself
Oh great so Malenia can now soft lock you if you are doing a no hit run, so two options either die and just forget about your souls or never enter her domain.

2:41 this is easily solved with programmable back paddle accessories for controllers. Just map one of the right back paddles to ○/B.
Bit of a tangent here: You can get accessories with 2 paddles or 4. I have one with 2 for my Dualshock 4 and I have found that mapping ○ to the right and × to the left is actually perfect for FPS's as it allows you to jump, mantle, run, sprint, slide, crouch, melee, and go prone all without lifting your thumbs from the sticks. I honestly, can't play without back paddles anymore because of how much more control I have than before.

Just beat Dark Souls 3. I gotta say that the hardest part of the soul of cinder was when he does the hit combo which stun locks you if you get hit and usually ends with you dying. Can't wait to get and play Elden Ring.

what really sucks is the invaders ever 20 seconds. (like how am I supposed to fight the draconic tree sentinel if I also have to deal with invaders, I got lucky that it died to scarlet rot while I was fighting the invader cause I was barely surviving them at that point)
On the topic of the Mimic Tear, I kinda wish that if you were to bring the Mimic Tear into the Mimic Tear boss fight, that your summoned Mimic would sometimes start attacking you because it can't perfectly tell the difference between the two of you - random idea I think would be interesting.
The favorite thing I've done in ng+ with the mimic boss, is stripping down no equipment summoning mimic and just watching them fist fight.

350 hours in eldenring, 6 playthroughs, 200 of the hours where the 1st playthrough, and the rest of the 150? well 100 of them are sitting idle in haligtree for people to summon me
if there's 1 thing I did not expect from Fromsoft that I found in Elden RIng- it's the sheer amount of cinnamon rolls in this game compared to the previous titles
No picking up items dropped by other players you don't know. In fact you should probably just alt-f4 when you see them drop stuff. It's Souls tradition for some complete dickheads to get other players banned by giving them hacked items that flag them on the anti-cheat.
How does it not flag them? Now I'm curious.

I'm guessing that it would be less of a youtube/TV-style ad, and more of what you'd see in a movie.
Have you ever wondered why a movie character drank a Coca-Cola? Or why the semi the main character is thrown into happens to be a Pepsi truck?
It's because brands pay good money for the studio to put their products in the movie... As in, millions of dollars for a few seconds of their product bein on-screen. It's called product placement, and it's pretty common.
That said, either way it's stupid. It's just another way to squeeze more value out of consumers for something they already bought... Just like microtransactions, but somehow _worse._

Like in movies, where you might see a character drink a bottle of Pepsi.
Pepsi paid the people making to movie to put their product in the movie, as an advertisement. Same thing with having a Coka-Cola truck. The company pays to advertise their product by putting it in a movie.
It's still an ad, just much more subtle than what you generally think of as one.

I've place my fingers like that on my controller since Demon's souls, it just works. And the seppuku / Holy ground works on summon too, to a minor extend wearing deathbed dress and holding R2 with flail work too.
