I made it in the same proportion today as an offering to Mataji and BOOM it just Turned out so delicious and I didn't taste anything in between as it was for prasad but after aarti I had it and was amazed that everything was perfect... I love the typical ‘Bramhani prasadacha sheera’ but half milk and half water is my ideal combination. I love how milk adds to the richness of the sheera. I also add a pinch of salt, enhances the flavors. Mast keshar ghalte ki! Aha!
@@nidhaan3752 1 cup sooji. Cashew/raisins. 1/2cup +2tbsp ghee. 3/4cup sugar. 1 and 1/2 cup milk. Fry cashew raisins in 1 tbsp ghee and take out. Add half of ghee and roast rava till it is fragrant. Add milk (cold/room temperature). Cover for 1/2 a minute. Open and stir. (it will be thick ). Add sugar... it will loosen now. After it thickens abit, add rest of ghee. Stir. Cover some minutes. Add saffron soaked in milk and the cashews and raisins. This is a very easy recipe actually.
