You know, at some point in your life you find something that just connects you with a heavenly feeling, something you will always remember, something that is sacred to you. For me, that's Wintersun.
My god, I had no idea this existed. This is such a divine piece of work. My gratitude goes out to you for your hard work and creativity. What you done here has truly captivated the heavenly essence of this track.
Wintersun music is superb Metal in the present. Yet, the music takes you away from the present. For their music to interest other musicians to create such beautiful versions such as this is a testiment of the power of their music.
@Erithlon yeah i checked those out and used in my previous vid. In this one I wanted to get a real ethereal sound and didn't feel the perc would fit much in it, except maybe for the grotals. Also I like miroslav perc databank more, it offers more options, however is less user friendly.
yet another masterpiece i do say!!!!! well done! have you ever thought of making your own, like album or something? i liked your original piece voidwelt alot!!
@mrwaffles007 kinda yeah, but I usually use some source or stock pictures. For example here I used some stock images, like the foreground and the tracing of the tree. I rendered the planet, sky and most of the elements myself. On the other hand, I drew winter madness myself 100%.
The main thing I found to be desired was more "real"-sounding dynamics. One of the most enjoyable aspects of actual symphony performances, I find, are the massive dynamics; this difference between the soft strings-only pizzicato sections and the overwhelming full-orchestra fortissimos. During the "I give my life..." section I really wanted the instruments to try to blow my ears out and they didn't. Other than that, though, I'd say this is pretty good. Keep working at it.
great job it sounds great! though i think it would have been better slightly faster and some percussion like cymbal rolls and maybe did some BG vox like the viking chants with symphonic choir's reminds me of how cradle of filth redid some of their songs in one of their newer albums all symphonic.

this must be the only video with no dislikes.... and I can see why!
@Jaakkoooooooooo hehe Jari would need to rob a bank in order to pay for orchestra :P

Awesome! Witch notes did you use in the chorus for the violin?
