It's the same with new trucks nowadays. Our company has trucks with bits of interior trim rattling and even falling off after only a few months of use. Modern vehicles? Technology is great. Build quality? Not so much.

Definitely have cruise control, very smooth auto boxes as well. I'm old enough to remember travelling on buses and coaches with manual gearboxes. Absolutely enormous stalks of bare metal those were, the crunching noise was also something else. Even the local buses around town had huge gearsticks like that.
Great video but will you film like the seat space , the size of the personnel table and loo space and were if any plugs or usb's are ? that will be great thanks .
USB's are on the back of the seats. You can clearly see them at the beginning of the video, where the yellow circles are at on the back of the seats there's a USB plug in the middle. According to Megabus' website, buses are equipped with free wifi and free USB charging points. USB and wifi are not uncommon in this day and age.

I started watching this video but didn't realize its 5 hours long. I've taken the bus several times from Washington DC to New York and back, and I've used both Greyhound and Megabus. I would have to say Megabus is my favorite because it's more comfortable. Greyhound isn't bad, but Megabus is just a little better. Greyhound does have the advantage of having a bus station in New York where riders can sit and wait indoors for the bus. Megabus meets peoples people on the street, so if you show up early you have to wait outside, but being outside isn't bad in my opinion.
During the covid period I have done a fair amount of train travel, and it has been pleasant because the trains are not full and you don't have anyone next to you. Really wish this would continue. Single seating one side, doubles the other (2+1 instead of 2+2) would lower capacity but be much more comfortable for passengers. In the 1970s a UK bus company called Southdown used to have coaches with 2+1 seating. Progress?
The bus made by volvo is beautiful, however the sitting space is too small for passengers, 4 seats per row may be too crowded. By the way, i particularly love the route of Megabus from Edinburgh to Inverness, along this trip is beautiful scene.
