Liked this challenge better than no 1. Stunning scenery, and what made all the better it was dry.

Love your brilliant videos. A group of us who worked in London transport used to do trips like this every year on public transport in Scotland. We covered nearly every part of the Highlands, including Orkney and Outer Hebridean Islands, including Cape Wrath, even being rescued by the lighthouse keeper, but that's a whole other story. The post buses were wonderful, taking you off the beaten track where normal buses didn't go. Seeing your wonderful videos brings back so many happy memories. Keep them going !!!!!!

I love the Claonaig - Lochranza ferry. Short and sweet but different every time. Took my grandkids on it last year (Brodick ferry wasn’t running due to COVID crewing issues) and they enjoyed it as well. Great seeing your travels (especially in Scotland) Keep up the great work.

I have to say that Scotland is one of if not the most picturesque countries in the world. Full of stunning scenery, amazing towns and villages. And that from a Sassenach.

I just cannot get over the outstanding views in Scotland and the various islands. I can only imagine the geological upheavals that took place when the earth was young! No place to be around then!

Wow a First Bus once every 5 minutes during COVID? I had to rewind and listen to that again as i thought i was hearing things. Certainly not in my part of Glasgow (ever), but don't get me started about First Bus...lol.

villages, and surrounding countryside. I shall continue to enjoy your channel Scott. Enjoy your commentary, and letting me inside your
head as you mull over problems that crop up. You enjoy what you do, and I enjoy your efforts!

Love doing the Brodick and Lochranza ferry trips, so relaxing. During Covid you didn't need to wear masks on the outside deck but on the Lochranza ferry the captain threatened me with police if I didn't wear one outside!!

enjoying your videos. Only ever done by bike but a good one to try:
to Ardrossan, to Brodick, to Lochranza, to Clainoag, to Kennacraig, to islay (arrival port essential for next leg) to Jura, and return by different routes as the fancy takes you! The challenge by bike was to get from Brodick to LochR in about 50 mins to catch a ferry to Kintyre...just!

MV Caledonian Isles should have been replaced on the Ardrossan-Brodick sailing by now, but still sailing back and forth along with the previous vessel on the service, MV Isle of Arran, during the summer months. Great to see my home town, Ardrossan,, well, the harbour anyway. Excellent vlog.

Loving the Content Scott. Could you kindly provide a list of the legs and timetables or links to how you found the routes as it looks like a way to explore parts of Scotland never been before. Obviously if you don't wish to say the exact start or finish point sue to it being your home no worries. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Lovely video and thank you for a lovely journey. I can't wait until I can come back to Scotland and go exploring again
I'm surprised capacity on public transport is still being limited though as down here in London our buses are now at full capacity, but I suspect that's just London.
    Excellent work though

Hammerton's Ferry in West London covers 105 metres and is definitely shorter. Whether you count it as a 'proper' ferry is a different question

Another brilliant video I think a shorter "ferry " service that could be a contenteder there is a little boat that does regular crossing of the
River Thames between ham house to Twickenham on the other side of the river

I believe there is a ferry that operates across the Manchester ship canal. I forget where exactly but the reason it exists is to do with a weird law that means they cannot legally get rid of any of the crossings on the canal (the ferry being one) so I would think that that would be shorter

Isn't the word Bus short for omnibus usually an automotive vehicle designed to carry a large number of passengers, this is similar to the argument against the guys at the national railway museum for calling all locomotives trains whether they have wagons or coaches or not, but anything with a white front light and a red tail light is considered to be a train so that includes a light engine.
