- A little fun around the house on the Fat Bike and then I went into town to get some more footage. Unfortunately, there was one crash (on my bike) I failed to record because I was heading to a different location in town when it happened.
This is my first video shot entirely with my new SJCAM SJ6 Legend.

Baseball card in the spokes gives it the real engine purr. Great to see you out riding. I went out for a trail ride yesterday and found some trees blocking the path, I need to practice getting over the logs. I'm glad you do your chores before playing, don't want you to get into trouble :)

I got a second hand department store fat bike the other day which is 21 kg. The wheelset weighs in at an incredible 12 kg, but most of that is about the astoundingly heavy tires and not the rims and stuff. This fatbike's called a Huffy Moose. It's a single-speed, and get what gear they've got on it, 44 front 22 back. An insanely large gear for a bike that heavy! I've replaced the 44T right crank with a 22T triple and taking off the outer 2 rings. Then I can have a little beat around on this elephant! I've done the crank but just waiting on a replacement chain.
I'd like to work on building up a carbon fat bike with generic (not copies!) chinese carbon so I can have something pretty nice while not being very expensive. A long-term project. And if you're willing to go second hand like through ebay, you can put together a groupset for half the price of the cheapest you can get for new.
