@Chris Van Vliet You're disappointed the pile driver is banned - have you ever had anyone put a pile driver on you? Or do you just like to see other people get hurt?
Yeah it is very cool when you see their non character side. He plays such a beast so well you kind of assume he was somewhat like that out of the ring. One of the best wrestling interviews I have seen.
@@Gorerupted I don't think he's neccessarily implying all christians are pleasant, cause definitely not the case. There are prics from all backrounds. Huge fan of Rhyno from back in ECW and from his time in WWE. I would LOVE to see him on the indy circuit and will be looking for when he comes near Austin/San Antonio for sure. Yet another awesome interview Chris! I love watching interviews that feel very relaxed and honest and Rhyno is ticking all those boxes in this one.
The thing that i like most about Chris' interviews is that he treats his guests with genuine respect. He actually does his research and makes sure there's no awkward moment in the interview. A delight to watch! Keep it up man! 💪
@@ChrisVanVliet I love that you don't intentionally ask uncomfortable questions to put people on the spot and get people stuttering. I hate when people do that. I wished you covered MMA. I've met Rhyno in person before at a small convention local to me. He is the nicest, most down to earth guy you'd ever want to meet! Rhyno is fine financially. He made the smart move by spreading himself out and owning a marina. He wrestles because he wants to, not because he needs to. Also, he has the potential to be huge in a promotion like New Japan or AEW.
Finally, Rhyno gets the love he deserves. I was always pissed watching him get squashed in matches, not letting him show "The man beast" he is and gore a dude into oblivion. Rhyno is a legend and deserves the best.

Great video!! Been a fan of Rhyno since the ECW days but my respect for the man has increased exponentially with this interview! So many would have taken the money and rested on their laurels but his love of the sport that has entertained me tremendously for 40plus years led him in a different direction. Kudos and mad respect to him for paying it forward and nurturing the next generation of Superstars!!
Good interview, and great interviewer, I like how you look genuinely interested in what the person your talking to is saying, instead of just waiting to ask the next question. Well done.
Kayfabe Commentaries are the kings of the shoot interview, but Chris Van Vliet is the king of these interviews. Keep up the great work man...It really shows how much hard work and hustle you put in to getting these and its paying off!
It's sad that WWE pay legitimately well known and capable stars to sit on their asses. If Rhyno wanted to impart his wisdom to younger stars, WWE have that system in PLACE. Rhyno in NXT; in a semi-HBK / Kassius Ohno position. Mad they wouldn't do that - their loss will be someone else's gain.
BluSpykz, you're right. They pay a lot of good wrestlers with so much potential to sit on their asses and they do it for a reason. Once they got wind of the Indy circuit rising and soaring in popularity with the fans, they started raiding the Indies and began snatching up every young prospect in sight. In this age of online social media, its easier than ever now for Indie wrestlers in other promotions to gain notoriety without having to go to WWE. Whether he admits it or not, Vince feels threatened by that so he's stacking the deck now against them.
Rhyno actually is one of those people that needs to be in front of the camera more because he has a relatable POV. I randomly clicked this video and its easily one of the best I have seen.
NOT REALLY MONEY WISE.(TOP LEVEL WRESTLER PAY OBVIOUSLY LIKE AT LEAST $500K PER YEAR) AEW WILL NOT PAY ANYBODY CLOSE TO $500K PER YEAR(MAYBE CHRIS JERICHO BECAUSE HE IS SET FOR LIFE FROM HIS ECW,WCW,WWE AND FOZZY MONEY) MABYE!!!!!!
If they let him go on the road like he wanted to he would of stayed. He actually liked being there.Plus he was in Impact for a while as well, and most likely will end up back at Impact.
These interviews literally make my day, the first thing I do is divert my eyes to the length of the video! The longer the better! You're a national treasure Chris, keep them coming and thanks for what you do!
Met Rhyno a couple of times at my work since he comes in quite often for his Marina. Really down to earth guy and was nice enough to let me and others get a picture with him as well.
I rarely subscribe to RUclips channels. But this Chris Van dude is freaking awesome! This guy keeps the momentum going and knows how to ask the right questions. Chris If you're reading this, you got yourself another supportive Fan! Love your interviews, man.
Your wrong wwe can use everyone ever heard of diffent divisions you know tag team mid card cruiserweight main event and women's everyone can be used that's no excuse
It's a common thing for people who spent years on the road for a living. It's a hard thing to get out of your system for some of them, same happens to people who drive truck for a living.
@Christopher Chuauhang I think after some time you have enough money (except youre greedy) and do whatever you like, when you can buy a complete boat club you dont need anymore money i think. Its the same like some musicians, why should you do an new album when you have enough money? Its because thats your passion and your meaning of life
@@christopherchuauhang4829 When your have enough money why you need more money? Not every rich guy needs to be a Bill Gates. Also maybe when you working outside the WWE in other promotion without a contract, you decide how to work, you get all the merchandise money etc. I think when your name is Rhyno you payroll wouldnt stop right? Look at the young bucks millionairs without going to the WWE.
Rhyno seems like a top class bloke, really down to earth and a wealth of knowledge. Young guys coming up in the business could learn a lot from this man. Great video Chris!
I grew up watching Rhyno. He looks like he hasn't aged a day and is still in good shape. Also he seems down to earth in the interview. Also Interviews were my favourite part of primary research at collage. 🇨🇮 Ireland 🇮🇪
What a pleasant guy, great interview as always, Chris. If I am to offer any criticism, I would say that moments like when you're asking about how a piledriver works seem to always take the wrestler out of the interview momentarily because you go from a normal conversation to a smarky fan interaction. It's also cringy to watch. Obviously that's not intended, but something to consider.
Met Rhyno, super nice guy. Literally talked with him for like like 30 mins before a show. Real approachable and chill. Took some pics and signed some stuff for me afterwards. It was a cool moment, because growing up I loved him in ECW.
I'll admit I never really paid too much attention to Rhyno during his WWE run I loved him more in ecw but after this interview my respect for that man grew so much. Cares about the business and wrestlers and is a all around good person. Wrestling needs more people like him.
*They absolutely dropped the ball with his WWE return when he tagged with Slater. They were WHITE HOT babyfaces as the 1st modern day Smackdown Tag champs and they did nothing with them.*
Another AWESOME interview. Rhyno was always a hard working blue collar a** kicker. But the other guy, the REAL LIFE guy, is just as awesome. Thank you for again giving us a chance to get to know another great wrestler. I'm glad Rhyno is leaving the sideshow that is WWE. However the Heath Slater story with his brother was amazing and so awesome to know. Thank him for sharing a very personal time. My Father passed in my arms from cancer so I know how tough that is. That's why I watch your channel. Such off beat and relaxing interviews. Keep it going. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I never really paid this guy much attention but after seeing this interview with him, I have a new sort of view of him. When I watch one of his matches now I think, ''That guy's a genuinely nice dude in real life'' which is interesting to know.
Rhyno seems like a genuine, solid, all around DECENT chap! No sugar coating, no "muggin' for the cameras". Rather, an ACTUAL...what-you-see-is-what-you-get, type of guy. Summed up; I gotta' hunch that he's truly a good dude.
Chris always gives the best interviews. Hes genuinely interested in the person hes interviewing and he knows his ish! And I've always liked Rhyno and the man is underrated as all hell.
Chris Van Vleet, good job with the interviews. One question- why do you do all the interviews with you and the guest sitting parallel facing the camera? You could arrange the chars in a way so that both of you are facing each other at an angle. It looks odd cuz in the whole interview you are at 90degree head turn looking at the guest

Rhyno knows exactly what he wants to do, I have a hard time figuring out what I want to do tomorrow
I kid you not just listening got this guy for fifteen minutes has already given me more positive outlook. Thankyou rhyno
Great Interview As Always Chris Rhyno Seems Like A Smart Guy
Kayfabe Commentaries are the kings of the shoot interview, but Chris Van Vliet is the king of these interviews. Keep up the great work man...It really shows how much hard work and hustle you put in to getting these and its paying off!
Thanks Matty Ice, I'm just out here grinding! I'm glad you appreciate it.
BluSpykz with the way they are sending stars back to nxt they just might
I mean i would love that honestly being paid not to work send me to raw vince ill be in catering all day
BluSpykz, you're right.
There's just no better guy than Rhyno, what a cool and humble dude, God bless the guy. Down to earth and willing to help others and NO EGO!!! Awesome.
One of the guys who got over and became champ without much talking or being known for promos
Rhyno actually is one of those people that needs to be in front of the camera more because he has a relatable POV. I randomly clicked this video and its easily one of the best I have seen.
Gore is the best version of spear ever
better than Goldberg/Edge/Roman and all of the other wrestlers who does it
Please don't include Roman. I beg you. His spear is very weak
@@ShubhamMishrabro yup..nuff said
His spear looked like a hug
@@Abu_ZzZ totally 🤣😂
Edge an Roman? ...no , the Gore is first class, goldberg spear is best
I hate to break it to y’all but nobody has a better spear than GILBERG! 💪
What a refreshing interview, not what I expected ! 36:15 -37:00 truer words couldn't be said
great Interview As always Chris Glad Rhyno is happy and Doing great
awesome you asked my question! thanks fellas.
Money isn’t everything and the WWE isn’t the be all end all. It goes to show you can make it just fine outside of World Wrestling Entertainment.

This is a pretty cool interviewing more insight into ryhno the person an not just the wrestler keep it up Chris🤘🏻🙌🏻❤❤
One of the best interviews in awhile
Rhyno is a cool dude. Can't wait to see where he ends up. As always great interview Chris, Keep up the great work!
Met Rhyno a couple of times at my work since he comes in quite often for his Marina. Really down to earth guy and was nice enough to let me and others get a picture with him as well.
Love the interviews! CVV keep up the good work
I rarely subscribe to RUclips channels. But this Chris Van dude is freaking awesome! This guy keeps the momentum going and knows how to ask the right questions. Chris If you're reading this, you got yourself another supportive Fan! Love your interviews, man.
The WWE can't use everybody so it's better for him to not stay
ruclips.net/video/i5GmOZTJeAI/видео.html wwe superstar with best physique transformation biceps and abs
Wresolution WWE is currently like a used car lot with people they don’t use .
Your wrong wwe can use everyone ever heard of diffent divisions you know tag team mid card cruiserweight main event and women's everyone can be used that's no excuse
@@xxminty619xx6 There is only so much time. Not everybody will get used with the shitload of talent they have under contract.
@@jagutichsachma Theres always a way just wwe is lazy
Another amazing interview. I could listen to Rhyno for hours. This interview flew by!
Rhyno is a genuinely cool dude. Another great interview for sure Chris! 😎
thanks for the interview, Rhino was one of my favourite wrestlers growing up
These guys are workaholics I would pay to get paid to be at home hahahah
It's a common thing for people who spent years on the road for a living. It's a hard thing to get out of your system for some of them, same happens to people who drive truck for a living.
According to what he is saying here WWE was willing to pay him twice as much to do just that.Nothing!
@Christopher Chuauhang I think after some time you have enough money (except youre greedy) and do whatever you like, when you can buy a complete boat club you dont need anymore money i think. Its the same like some musicians, why should you do an new album when you have enough money? Its because thats your passion and your meaning of life
Marv The OG he could buy a boat with his current pay and they were offering him double that. Just imagine turning that down.
Rhyno is a throw back to when a professional wrestler looked like your next door neighbor.
I grew up watching Rhyno. He looks like he hasn't aged a day and is still in good shape. Also he seems down to earth in the interview. Also Interviews were my favourite part of primary research at collage.

I'm from Livonia, MI. Awesome shout out for L-Town! Chris, you do great work sir. Keep it up.
Haha that’s awesome! And thanks for watching until the end!
Another amazing interview Chris! You should try to get big papa pump next or down the line
Met Rhyno, super nice guy. Literally talked with him for like like 30 mins before a show. Real approachable and chill. Took some pics and signed some stuff for me afterwards. It was a cool moment, because growing up I loved him in ECW.
The last of the ECW guys
Yeah buddy! Nice interview Chris
Chris always gives the best interviews. Hes genuinely interested in the person hes interviewing and he knows his ish! And I've always liked Rhyno and the man is underrated as all hell.
Rhyno and Chris 2020 🇺🇸
Chris Van Vleet, good job with the interviews. One question- why do you do all the interviews with you and the guest sitting parallel facing the camera? You could arrange the chars in a way so that both of you are facing each other at an angle. It looks odd cuz in the whole interview you are at 90degree head turn looking at the guest
Gore, GOre, GOOORREE!!!
--Paul Hayman
I thought it was JR who said that.
Never injured anyone, never had heat with anyone, never drank, did pills, or steroids. This guy is one of the gems in the business
