Would be nice to figure out what exactly St Anatole means when he says “heretics will take OVER the Church”. Does he mean ALL of the historical institutions, or just the MP? Some of these prophecies are vague and require a degree of discernment to rightly interpret which many of us don’t have, unfortunately.
@@Death2Compromise I can see how it does, but we don’t get the luxury of misinterpreting a holy saint’s prophecy. I asked Fr Joseph about this specific prophecy awhile ago before I became TO, and he alluded to the possibility of it not being fulfilled yet.
@@T_Wozna If elements of it were not already happening then "True Orthodoxy" wouldn't be a thing, no? Obviously, we don't know exactly what the prophecy means.
@@Death2Compromise It’s possible it hasn’t happened yet depending on what St Anatole means by “heretics taking OVER the Church”. I’d be interested to hear what Russian TO bishops have to say on this.

Looking at the historical institutions, it checks out.
