I had a 66 - 283 Powerglide - Red on black. GTO springs in the front with spacers and air shocks on the back. Lifted it level about 2 inches. A lot better look.

I got all excited thinking it was a 65.... the 1965 impala is the sexiest impala there is... honorable mention 59 biscayne with the tear drop tail lights...
59..tailights..old car guys are split on what they call them..have say tear drops..others say cat eyes..I had a 60 impala..I should have kept it ..not many 59 or 60.s around

I got a tire rub issue with a similar car. Any advice out there? I would think either a lift kit or getting smaller tires would fix the issue but which option would be more budget friendly :)

Wow I miss my 66 super sport 396 and I add 50 of Nitrous 4.11 four speed she was Sandalwood color oh satellite radio before it was in most vehicles and my wipers worked, definitely something with Chevy and the heater controls mine were very hard to move also 1966
