There are 4 members in the dance line: V, JHope, Jungkook, and Jimin. Jhope was a popular street dancer prior BTS. When it comes to moves that are more rooted and suited to Hip hop this is where he shines best. Also he is the grp's dance leader, if you check out their behind the scenes practices you would see he is very similar to RM. You can check out Hope on the street, his practice videos. Plus the practice vid for Boy meets evil. :) Jimin excelled in martials arts (taekwando and kendo) and was a top student in contemporary dancing. If you watch his performance together with Jhope of Boy meets evil / blood sweat and tears you'll know what im talking about. Jimin is the most flexible member in the grp and is really good in translating emotions through movements. He studied popping and locking at an early age as well. JK (Jungkook) - was a very shy kid prior bts. He had trouble dancing confidently and lacked emotions at first. He trained dancing in the US for a time and his dancing improved. During his trainee days he would sing while running on a treadmill. All the practice made this shy boy into a confident force of nature. Among the members he is the most stable in singing and dancing live (although i think jin, jhope, v are runner ups). V was a very skilled dancer throughout BTS' career but not as good as the original dance line up (3J). For that he practiced very hard. After his video of "Singularity" where he had to dance on his own, but together with very skilled dancers from the US, was he finally included in the line up. His display of emotions add a unique touch to his undeniable stage presence. Jin and RM are said to be the least best dancers in the grp but if you check their choreo from 2013 to now,they have significantly improved.

He then went on to study & perform in contemporary, ballet, traditional Korean dance. He was always top of class since the beginning with honors. Jimin also since a very young boy, trained for 8 years in various kinds of martial arts, including Taekwondo, which he has a blackbelt in, and Kumdo (Korean form of kendo). He was so good, he was even offered a scholarship to go to China to study more extensively. Jimin's official title with BTS is Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist. What sets Jimin apart, is that he somehow has been able to incorporate all the different types, style, & forms of dance as well as even his martial arts trading into his unique dancing ability which sets him apart. Jimin's amazing inner core strength enables him to be able to do all those gravity defying moves while performing. Like those aerial spins he does whenever he performs "Serendipity". For Jimin, it's highly recommended to see his Fancans, because so many times he does these amazing moves off camera when nobody sees it except the live audience. Like the part when Suga is rapping in "Boy With Luv" when it was commented about J-Hope's popping, Jimin's popping was absolutely fierce but hard to see since he was behind others. You can see it though if you check out BTS interview on CBS Sunday morning show. They not only do an interview but show a dance rehearsal of "Boy With Luv" where the camera is filming off to the side so you can clearly see it!

Hoseok is extremely versatile yet you can see that his basis is street dancing (which is what allows him his versatility in the first place). It's not that people are ignorant of Jimin's dancing background, but that they concentrate on the side of him that has the most weight. Anybody with dancing knowledge can see what dancing background has shaped the way Jiminie dances.
BTS LEGENDS If we talk being main dancer of BTS, Jimin is as much a main dancer as Hoseok is. If we talk versatility, then objectively speaking Hoseok is the most versatile (and not just in BTS) bc he's always working on expanding his dancing repertoire. For example, last year when they were in Japan, while the others were having a well deserved relaxing session, Hoseok sought out professionals of the house genre in order to learn from them the genre. He has a lot of dance influences.

There is no best dancer cause that depends on your taste. So it's completely fine to prefer Hoseok .

Jhope is dance captain and both jimin and hobi are main dancers and who’s best to you is objective but the versatility comes down to their background in dancing.

As for the dancers...j hope is the dance leader of the group...j hope is a street dancer where Jimin is classicly trained...he is the contemporary dancer of the group....so it depends on what kind of dancing u prefer to who is better...Jungkook also trained in L.A. in street dancing and V trained thru the group...that is the dance line...
Jimin and Jhope are both main dancers. Jhope learns choreos faster so he has the added title of dance leader, but Jimin has a more extensive background in dancing and is the most versatile dancer in the group. He's also my favorite dancer to watch in the group. As a dancer of more than 16 years, I can say his musicality is very advanced and his versatility from hip hop to contemporary and how those styles help build his unique technique is amazing. When you pay attention to the details, you’ll see he’s the best when it comes to relaxing his muscles but then tensing it right away - which is one of the most difficult things to pull off as a dancer. Because of that, his solo choreos are the most difficult to pull of and it’s also because they’re catered to his unique style of dancing. You should check out his live stages for these two songs: 1) Lie 2) Serendipity Once you do, you'll get a better idea of his dancing style.

I don't hear many people commenting about the number of DIFFERENT choreography they have for EACH song....depending on the stage situation. I know that i've seen at least 4 or 5 different choreos for most songs.....some for dance practice, another for the music video, another for Korea broadcast shows, American broadcast shows, another for concerts, etc. All those songs with so many choreos for each song....makes my head spin!!!

Jhope is main dancer, choreo leader, rapper, singer and songwriter in the group, he definetly is the most complete and overall versatile artist. He has been dancing for over ten years and in bts he is the best and most experienced dancer, he does locking and popping mainly but also does house dance, jazz moves and modern. He loves to dance and was on dance crews on his teens as the center and youngest member and they won competitions, in fact BTS was known before debut as the "team with jung hoseok" cause he was already famous in the dance seen in sk. He has amazing skills and his stage presence live is the best, he raps and sings while he dances and is always super stable and adds a lot of passion and emotion. Jhope is a very unique and creative artist and dancer. Definetly the best and has always been.

J hope, wrote this song several years ago.....brought it out of his archives by request of RM...he than produced it...and he is also the beat maker...
As for the dancers...j hope is the dance leader of the group...j hope is a street dancer where Jimin is classicly trained...he is the contemporary dancer of the group....so it depends on what kind of dancing u prefer to who is better...Jungkook also trained in L.A. in street dancing and V trained thru the group...that is the dance line...
Jimin and Jhope are both main dancers. Jhope learns choreos faster so he has the added title of dance leader, but Jimin has a more extensive background in dancing and is the most versatile dancer in the group. He's also my favorite dancer to watch in the group. As a dancer of more than 16 years, I can say his musicality is very advanced and his versatility from hip hop to contemporary and how those styles help build his unique technique is amazing. When you pay attention to the details, you’ll see he’s the best when it comes to relaxing his muscles but then tensing it right away - which is one of the most difficult things to pull off as a dancer. Because of that, his solo choreos are the most difficult to pull of and it’s also because they’re catered to his unique style of dancing. You should check out his live stages for these two songs: 1) Lie 2) Serendipity

@@shookbitch123 Jhope background is more of hiphop, Jimin used to do hiphop and popping and street dancing. but then pursued in contemporary, ballet and traditional korean dance. Jimin is definitely more versatile.

I don't hear many people commenting about the number of DIFFERENT choreography they have for EACH song....depending on the stage situation. I know that i've seen at least 4 or 5 different choreos for most songs.....some for dance practice, another for the music video, another for Korea broadcast shows, American broadcast shows, another for concerts, etc. All those songs with so many choreos for each song....makes my head spin!!!

I've heard your question: J-Hope is the MAIN dancer, then it comes Jungkook, Jimin ( with the peach colour hair) and V ( the blue hair) . V is the new member from the dance line. The director of BIG Hit decided to put V in the dance line , since V had his solo, called - SINGULARITY. And this song is written by J-Hope :) You guys are so amazing and funny!! :)))) OMG!!! :))))

Jhope is main dancer, choreo leader, rapper, singer and songwriter in the group, he definetly is the most complete and overall versatile artist. He has been dancing for over ten years and in bts he is the best and most experienced dancer, he does locking and popping mainly but also does house dance, jazz moves and modern. He loves to dance and was on dance crews on his teens as the center and youngest member and they won competitions, in fact BTS was known before debut as the "team with jung hoseok" cause he was already famous in the dance seen in sk. He has amazing skills and his stage presence live is the best, he raps and sings while he dances and is always super stable and adds a lot of passion and emotion. Jhope is a very unique and creative artist and dancer. Definetly the best and has always been.
