It is still insane for a CO-OP GAME, that Quickplay + Player Merging where not in the game on release and took about 7-8 month to be added.
Good that it is here now, but you have to apologize for adding it so late and not try to sale it to us as a feature we should be proud of.
Usually I place blame on leadership roles but at this point I’m starting to believe the dev team as a whole over there are just incompetent in general.
NEVER let them distract you from the fact most of these features and fixes were in Payday 2

Guys.... as much as we like quality of life fixes, we actually need some new heists. We haven't got any since NOVEMBER and it is almost may... read the room. You can't except people to play the same handful of heists for that long. We got only 3 new heists since the game came out, 2 of which were classic ones and the drought has been ridiculous.
the biggest problem are the weapons its so boring to play the same weapons over and over again + most of them are so weak 😴
@@xthijsbos6811 I really hate how bullet spongey the enemies are. I'd rather fight 1000 weak enemies than 100 tanky enemies. Feels like so many of the weapons take full mags to kill one enemy and its so boring.
I'm okay with no heists for the next year if that's how long it takes for the game to be good in the first place. More of the game is worthless if the game isn't fun.

It's *exceedingly* disappointing. I wonder why exactly they're so slow and incompetent with PAYDAY 3 when they had a lot less problems with PAYDAY 2, even though it has a very bad and old engine.
Can you make it so we can finally hop in the van when a heist ends like in payday 2.
Actually in early dev footage you see them do that. Meaning, it is something they specifically patched out. modern game devs are a joke.
Apparently it’s “in development” according to the feature upvote page, so we can expect to see it fixed in 2 years I bet

wow...a full devteam took almost as much time as a 1 man/woman to make mod which is basically the quick play option....BUT BETTER!!! the mod actually lets you to select heists....THE HESITS!!! not just the difficulty. some people would even say that a single man/woman made a server browser :P
PS: i dont know if more than 1 people worked on this mod, but for the shock value i will say that just 1 person made a server browser before a team of devs.

What bothers me is that there is no news about the Heist that was supposed to come out in Q1, or am i missing something.
Nah they said Spring 2024 and yet there are no news for it at all.
They MUST release it. They already sold the season pass, they are legally obligated but I think they will just develop to a playable game, release the dlcs and then leave any development.
They are adding social features to a game that hit 0 active players!?

they’ll have pulled the plug by that point, and den of wolves certainly will do it for them if not voluntarily
They will shut down the game and shut down the servers by the end of the year when the game's support contract ends.

When are we gonna get the progression update? I want to be able to grind heists for XP and levels and I know that’s one of the things on the Operation Medic Bag roadmap but it’s a pain seeing each update go by and not have the XP rework which is arguably one of the most important changes in the roadmap in my opinion
Me and my friends have hit a progression roadblock with the challenge system and can barely level up now so the XP rework would be the key to getting us back into the game
I'm very gratefull for Payday 3 because if not Payday 3, I would probably never discover and buy Helldivers 2, which is amazing game since release, non stop, all the time.
Helldivers 2 is a game that once you play it for 10 hours you have experienced everything the game has to offer , the same missions over and over , new orders that require you to play the game the same way you have been ever session , needs a lot more then new guns on battle passes , might be an unpopular opinion but that’s the truth

@@euphoniwhat3503 And yet the gameplay cycle is better than Cashgrab 3. The battlepass from H2 gives new guns, greanades and armor. At this point they have introduce like 12 plus weapons in 3 months (not including more stratagems, enemies, bioms, etc.) and PD3 nothing (only if you open your wallet you get power creep weapons, 1 enemy and 1 map)
I pray this game becomes good.
But i gotta say, these updates are very small and take brutal amount of time

Update is ok, but not worth a Dev Update Video i think. These are Standard Features, which should have been in the Game since Launch.
The Main Problem i think which almost every Player of your Game has, is the Longtime Playability.
This Game has no fun challenges, no rewards for completing heists, a bare amount of masks (Where is the Mask Vendor with weekly rotating inventory, which you promised 2 months ago in Operation Medic Bag?), no new heists since december (Almost 5 months with no new map or challenges).
Where is the „Feature“ that you can rename your Loadouts? Why isnt it in this patch?
The Pace in which you release your updates is also very slow.
1 Update each Month with 3 Standard Features and 1 Granade…
I wish you all the best still, but with no content is this game in the current state not fun to play.

Its funny how they talk about importsnt features but we have them just now.
You really have to consider putting more RNG in your heists. This is what made them more replayable in pd2. The amount of heists rn would be enough for now if there were different approaches, different events that can literally change the pace of a heist, if it makes it harder or easier doesn't matter but the more of those features exist the more often people want to replay your mission to experience the heist in a different way almost every time
I really hope you have plans for this because this is literally what made payday unique. Cos the heists were literally unique themselves

Only thing missing is word on additional level content. Roadmap DLC or additional legacy heist would be great, the current selection is growing stale. Other than that, excited at the progress being made
I think that the perfect roadmap would be just LEGACY HEIST and nothing more, payday 2 was really really fun it just needed a more stable engine, animations, graphics and there. Gameplay wise it was superior.

Make sure there's filters for setting up/joining lobbies to do specific achievements/challenges.
bro... they're struggling to implement filters that pick by either loud or stealth. consider that what you're asking for is a monumental task compared to loud/stealth filters, and they can't even do that.
in payday 2 i was staying alone in a lobby, for an hour or so then someone came in and we played like 7/8 heists together and he friended me. we still play day to day, this happened 4 years ago

How was a modder able to give us a server browser faster than you people when we've been asking for months?
because they didn’t. they unlocked an unfinished portion of code that allowed for solo loading, but there was no online server functionality.

@@wayvoedorado71 i stand corrected, i thought this was a reference to the OHM mod, i only just looked at the new mod. i’m amazed anyone actually cared about this game enough to develop this.
Because modders workaround what developers left unfinished inside of the game, rather then developing the feature inside of the game. Modding is relatively easier then game development, and even that mod, with all due respect of it's developer, doesn't work properly on many of us. Game development is not that easy as you think.
Because modders don't have things like quality control and platform certification or professional/industrial standards to worry about or any reputation backlash if it sucks.
Watch people not remember to vote to skip intro/turn on the setting. Should've had that be up to just the host, just like the better game in this series.
Another issue is there is no host. You can't even kick griefers who stay off the escape to farm kills

I feel like adding a dlc where you triumph over italian mobsters and get a mob boss heister would be a perfect addition to the game and with payday 3 being set in new york, the pieces just fall into place.

The game will be abandoned by the end of the year. According to the contract, they were given money to support the game for a year after release, and they are also obliged to release 3 more DLCs because they promised them in a silver and gold edition.
I suggest you to keep an Eye out for den of wolves a new heists game made by the OG payday 1 e 2 developers

You guys are doing good.... gotta bring your payday 2 heists selection features of paying your earned money to go out on a heist as well they should have the same city map interactions for missions but on a larger planet scale maybe showing the hole globe in a rectangle format showing you where each huest is located and within that location of the map would be that heists options so on So forth would help the game sell much better what's the point in earning the cash if when u do heists for free winning and loosing doesn't matter. Payday 2 you must spend money to go on a heists and what not I believe normal was small to pay into a heist but we're talking overkill give us something better to work for
